I only gave 1 star because zero wasn't an option. They took months, and charged me R20k, and gave me back my car with none of the original faults fixed, but rather with additional problems and a serious oil leak. They are utterly useless, do not trust them with your car.
They are pathetic beyond belief. I was seriously overcharged last year. I have been trying to sort it out for 6 months through all channels available, and absolutely nothing has been done to help me. "Customer servoce" doesn't even respond.
My experience with Ace was great from start to finish. I found a rare part for my vintage car at Ace auto in Springs, at a very reasonable price. It was delivered to my house exceptionally well wrapped and boxed a few days later. I'll definitely check them again for parts in the future.
We had a disaster - the cat pee'd on my wife's woolen jacket. One go at dry cleaning it didn't work. But Spot-on didn't give up. They worked on it for a couple of weeks using every trick they had, and managed to get the coat odour-free. Huge thanks to them. And, they didn't even charge extra for all that work!

Initially I at least got a reply (but no action), now I don't even get a reply. I should point out that their service has been great in the past, it’s just this one failure that is irritating me.</div>
I couldn't see how to give zero stars. Pathetic "serice". Quick to send out and chage for final demand notices, but in reverse when it comes to listening to customers. It's been a long process, about a year, of me posting queries on the etshwane site about an amount showing as in arrears on my account. Not once did they get back to me. They did not even assign a reference number to any of my queries. Now, when I called today, I was told that they can't do anything to help me because I don't have a reference number! Unbelievably, they say it is my responsibility to get a reference number! Must be great to have a monopoly.
I ordered something from Chavda on a Saturday. They called me on Monday morning to let me know there was a slight problem with my order. This was resolved on the spot (slightly to my benefit), and my item was delivered larer that day. Excellent service.
Pathetic lack of service. I have been trying to query a high amount I am being billed for about 2 weeks. I have spent about 4 hours on the phone. I have got nowhere. They put me through to other (wrong) departments. I thought I might have got my point across last week. But then I got a message that my query was closed. Absolutely no explanation, and my actual query was not addressed. Now their systems are offline. One can only assume that they are trying to delay the process so that they can continue to overcharge me. I will never go MTN again.
