Called in on Sunday, 26.04.26, to query online Hotshots booking error. Was put through a person named Christie, who initially rushed to a conclusion without understanding the problem. I had to repeat myself and was then told, "I am entering the facility and will check on the system," to which I rep****, "ok. I will wait". "Wow, not even a thank you on a Sunday morning" was the next words I heard! My query has not been addressed or resolved yet. Christie tries to solicit a thank you, what for? When pressed regarding her attitude, she got defensive, and this led me to say, "JC, is this customer service?", she immediately dropped the call. I complained to the staff and received no feedback at all. Is this the kind of people you guys employ?
Pick n Pay asap the most useless delivery service I have ever encountered. Ordered twice, more than 3 hours later, cancelled twice. Checkers sixty sixty ✅
We have changed pharmacies and have requested, on multiple occasions that PD stop claiming from our Medical Aid, verbally & in writing which they have acknowledged. PD however, still charges the medical scheme. This amounts to theft.
Got an installer in on Monday to install router & Calix. All fine. No connectivity 24 hrs later. MF sends a repair & maintenance team who disconnect the Calix & report a problem with on of the devices. Get told office has no stock of that device, what a joke! Customer care trying to get me to reconnect devices that were reported faulty and continue waiting for connectivity, later in the day, laughable. Being a new customer, this leaves a lot to be desired and shows what a dire state this country is in when something this simple, this far has taken 7 separate people, 3 days to resolve with utter failure.
Decided to take advantage of an advertised “cash back when you upgrade” deal. Terms stated & Store confirmed payment in 48 to 72 hours. 4 days later I try to enquire what is the delay only to be told by a “sales agent” they don’t offer cash back! Then she agrees they do & advises it takes 7 to 14 days! Contrary to what is advertised? Store manager contacts me apologising & assures me finance will expedite, further promising feedback the same day. That feedback never came, neither did the payment. I make contact again the following day only for another store manager to contact me and inform me that finance has communicated it’s too close to a weekend so they cannot do anything. What happened the previous day….nothing? Absolute shambles of an experience!
I was contacted on Wednesday 26.04.23 by whom I now find out was RewardsCo but identified themselves as Vodacom upgrades. Further, the device & terms that were confirmed to me were as follows, upgrade to an iPhone 14 Pro Max, 1TB, deep purple on a Red VIP 20G contract with my existing contract handset instalments for the remaining 3 months of my current contract to be wavered along with the upgrade fee. These were further confirmed by Rewards Co floor manager, Simone. Upon contacting Vodacom I have been informed otherwise. It?s an iPhone 14 Pro not max and no instalments will be wavered. This is not misleading but rather blatant lying. Please cancel this upgrade request immediately.
So, in the last year I have cancelled two of my secondary Vodacom contracts. The primary one is up for renewal and I decided to cancel / port to another network due to more attractive deals. Got in touch with 0821958 on 1 June 2021 by a very polite person who convinced me Vodacom did not want to lose me as a customer and Commercial would get me a great deal. She would be in touch by Friday 4 June. Sunday 6 June, receiving no contact yet, I called the cancellations line again, held on for 15 minutes to be told the agent will get back to me Monday 7 June in the morning. Today, June 8, still no contact. Thanks for making up my mind Vodacom!
