I started dealing with Rak property last year 2024 October to give context. Initially everything looked good until signing the lease and started being rude and unprofessional, with least or no communication. 1st incident, I receive statement different from what was shown on the ad, I enquire immediately via email before payment dates comes and no one responds. Then I pay what was shown on the ad because I deemed it as a mistake , since no one responded. Then I receive a rude WhatsApp message, from Hendricks without doing due diligence, telling me I should have indicated if I was going to struggle to pay and inform him to do due diligence before sending such a message because I had sent an email to enquire but no one responded and sent proof, we addressed it as amicably and went on with our lives. Secondly, I reported multiple issues with the property, which I understand that maintenance is the landlord’s responsibility but no one gave me what will be done and won’t be done. A mere fumigation, I had to do it myself. Surely that is an essential. 3rd, After reporting the main door handle to be faulty, they waited for the door to lock me outside to change the door handle and that was reported in morning but was only replaced around 17:00 ( no sense of urgency) and were even insinuating helping me the following day. 4th reported issue that my unit was flooded because of unit above. They called me 2 months later ****erally) to come and provide assistance (again no sense of urgency and no internal communication) There are other issues but what led to this review.During the discussion of my lease renewal , no one responds to my questions about the lease which was gonna help decide whether on not I renew the lease because instead. I receive email at approximately 3:00Am telling me that my lease has been renewed. No response to my emails about same renewal. Even worst, the renewal back dated by a month when my current lease has been renewed not even officially ended. I hope they learn from this review because every-time I had to deal with them directly it had been a disaster.
I made a return to Takealot and they fetched their product on the 15. Told me that the return process has been concluded on their side and processed the refund. Today it’s the 26th and haven’t received my money on top of that they debited for the product they took back and concluded with return process.
They debited my account after I canceled the insurance with them.

I would like advise anyone not to use Cartrack. So I bought a bike and installed their tracking unit which is supposed to be live tracking. Long story short my bike was stolen and they tell me the unit was not updating on their side for past three days at that time and no one did anything about. They failed to recovery the motorbike and was supposed to put account on zero rated,which somehow they haven't and keep debiting my account . I have to reverse that debit order and they will call and I have to relieve that moment again that I lost lots of money because of them not doing their job and still harrsing me with debit orders for job service they did not provide. Cartrack stop harrowing me.
I have deposited money (R6000) from my account (fnb) to an RMB account. I did it on the 14th. Monday recipient notify me that the money has not been received. I checked everything called fnb they confirmed that money did leave my account. Fnb kept on telling me that I must check with the recipient after the recipients clearly stated there's is no money. No one gave me advice on what to do, they kept on dragging the matter until I had to tell them that they must do an investigation of a missing payment. I realized that they're do all they can to proactively do investigation to assist the customers. Especially in this case problem is in their system because on the day of the deposit I did not get PoP immediately but 3days later. I am sitting here without my 6k and they not even considering the importance and urgency of that money where it was going. This is very disappointing for a company like FNB to be so inconsiderate. Now I have to get into debts to pay the money where it was supposed to go. It's said their system promotes being indebted . How do you expect me to wait 7days for feedback for something so serious?
I am extremely annoyed by FNB, I opened a credit card with them last year. I then paid back all the money and requested closure of the credit card mid January 2021,till to date they are refusing to close the credit card. I feel like it is a scam to keep the credit card open so that you gonna end-up using the money again. I have used all channel of communication with them but every time I phone I am given a new reference number and told to wait for 7 working days but still not close even today. The funny thing is everyone I speak to they say they can see my request for closure but nothing has been done. even their complaint department is useless because I have been waiting for their feedback till today. I wound advise never to take a credit card at FNB, I am so disappointed in their service and morals to keep people in debt instead of appreciating people who are trying to reduce their debts.
