In October 2022 I bought 2 x single foam beds (mattress & base) for student coming for learnership in Johannesburg which was postponed to January 2023- I made them aware in November that I had a dilemma as I had no delivery address yet- was reassured that it wot be a problem all I should do is to let them know 2 weeks before delivery when I need them. Unfortunately the learnership was canceled, I sent them a message to cancel the order and refund me on 14 June and informed by Vissie that it was 8 months later and cant get a refund, that it shows that my beds were delivered- asked her to sedthe delivery invoice to see who signed for them and address where they were delivered but yesterday they said they will see- they took my money and never delivered the beds!
Am so frustrated with the service I received today- all I needed was to be sent a paid-up letter but none could help me. I was sent from pillar to post as they could not find my details on their system or with Nimble - I settled my account in early 2020, account no:7000100100076044395 card no:0006008150153252962 and requested the paid-up letter which was not sent- requested again in October 2020 and still has not received it till now. I was given the following numbers but did not get any solution-0872505532;0872860223;0872852055;0860111826. The last number given, 0861482482 belonged to Transunion. I have sent an e-mail as well. I really need this report to improve my credit profile.
My homeloan account got handed over after debt review company messed it up and only found out when I received summons from the bank. I called the law firm handling this and they adviced me to go to court to plead my case- am thankful as this gave me the opportunity to renegotiate. Furthermore as I was paying the agent who would call after my account was returned back to the bank made me aware of other options that would make the load lighter and ensure I can be able to meet my monthly repayments and not default. Thank you all so much for your understanding and support as me and my family stil has a roof over our heads.
In 2016 after having twins and coming back from a 60% paid maternity leave I started struggling to meet my monthly repayments and decided to go for debt review to try preserve my credit record and ease the burden. I applied for debt review with ezDebt on 11/08/2016. It really helped because of the reduced debt repayments and was able to breath. All was well till I received summons from Standard bank on the property I was residing in in June 2017, and sheriff of the court visited. The summons sent show that debt review status was terminated and by January 2017 a notice was sent to ezdebt that i was in arrers by R17626.29 @ 9.15 interest rate. I was never made aware and was still paying them to pau my debts. I called them when i received summons bt they could not help much, i went to court and was given chance to renegotiate. I decided to pay the debtors myself and phoned them to renegotiate as by then i was close to R100000 in arresrs with all debtors combined. Only the vehicle finance was done right. Am worse off now than I was before debt review. I managed to save both properties (with Standard bank helping out a lot), and pay off my car but am not making any dent on the others as am just paying interest, some have even gone up. To clean out this mess and get my life back am in the process of selling one of my properties. People should be careful when deciding to go this route as I was under the impression that ezdebt when negotiating lower installments had negotiated lower interest rates and maybe longer terms.
In 2011 I joined the Stock Market College and opened a trading account. My account was then handed over to PGA Konsult and was contacted by Ester Harper on 09/02/2011 who was to manage my account (BDA 0977009). Not much was explained to me and the only communication I received was the e-mail. I bought some shares but after a while, as I was not getting it I took awhile to login into my account to trade. I tried to login in 2017 but could not- when I called and gave my details I was told by some guy(don't remember his name) that the account was closed down and that it had no monetary value- he was rude and just said he could not help or explain further. Am still clueless about what happened to the shares I bought.
I joined the dream vacation club(member 81013) and I fell on hard times and could not afford to pay the subscription as well as the loan. I made them aware and requested that I be left with only the points that I had paid for and the other contracts be canceled. I got a letter of demand in 2015 with an amount I had to pay after everything was recalculated- within a week I was told that I had forfeited that arrangement, thus forfeited my points. I could not fight this or follow-up as I was in such a bad financial mess even though I felt I was dealt with unfairly. Last year November I called to enquire about points I had paid for and was advised to write an e-mail to Linda Davidson to be reinstated, which I did send on 26 November 2020 - to date, I have not received any response.
