Below claims not paid since December and one is even from November. You wait for minimum of 30 minutes to get through to claims and then often cut off. They do not reply to members or Doctors E Mails. Dr WP De Beer practice number 0082295 R1000.00 paid by myself on 3rd November 2025 and submitted on that date to claims department,then submitted again on 14th January 2026 and again to Queeneth on 2nd February 2026. New system reference number RFS67646. Please let me know when I will be paid back for this. This has not been answered and has not been paid. DR Tayob Practice number 0271268. R5249.96 Sent to Sizwe claims department on 29th December 2025. They have not been paid. Dr WP De Beer practice number 0082295 R6130.63. Submitted on 15th December 2025 to claims department on 16th December 2025 then again on 14th January 2026 to Victoria Ref RFS67685.Sizwe original authorization number NEO 020251113014A. As discussed with Queeneth, when I managed to get on to your portal it showed a short payment of R2761.75 and stated that codes 40,42,44 and 46 were duplicated so I spoke to Jacques at the doctor's rooms and he said these will be duplicated as it was a bilateral Hernia operation( Bilateral means both sides) so some codes will be duplicated. I contacted Jacques at Dr De Beer's offices today 9th March 2026 and he told me he received a remittance that said amount exceeded code 10 and nothing has been paid.. Netcare Linksfield Practice number 5808502 for services on 15th to 16th of December 2025. sent on 16th December by Netcare electronically then sent by me on the same date to claims, also update requested by the hospital case management on 22nd December 2025 but no reply received. Also sent to Victoria on 14th January 2026 with clear instructions regarding the password to open this document then sent to you again on 2nd February 2026. Amount R40701.90. PASSWORD FOR THIS DOCUMENT 5810285091184. This was received according to Queenith during our conversation on the 2nd February. Apparently this has been short paid by R8113.51. I have no explanation for this short payment and have not received any statement. Documents submitted are attached.
My wife bought a Starkey hearing aid from Hearcare plus in Mulbarton in 2022. She dropped the hearing aid in September 2024 and we took it back to Hearcare plus and they sent it to the agent to be repaired. We claimed from the medical aid for the repair which was 3 or 4 thousand Rands. We received it back in September 2024 and it was working. In December 2024 the hearing aid came apart but was not dropped this time so we handed it in to them, at which point it was still working but the cover was loose. We were then quoted R1270 for the repair and told that they had submitted it to the medical aid but the medical aid does not pay for repairs which is strange because they paid for the last repair. I feel that firstly the hearing aid should have been repaired under guarantee of the last repair. Secondly their submission to the medical aid was just an E Mail with my wife's name and a comment that it needs to be repaired with no code or anything else. Constant problems with VW caddy doors. I bought a new VW caddy panel van in 2019. I have had the following problems with doors: Central locking not always opening doors. Back door not staying open swinging closed. The above two problems have been brought to the service team attention at VW the Glen when servicing the vehicle but still exist. The latest problem that started a couple of months ago is the sliding door not locking, I have to lock it manually by opening the sliding door and pressing a button. When I reported this at a service in late November I was given a quotation of nearly R9000. I feel that this is unfair as I have owned several vehicles in my life and never had one issue with door locks. I feel that the locks on this vehicle are of cheap inferior quality. I booked flights from JHB to Cape Town and return flights through Travelstart for February which is still today over three months away. Reference number ZA11196261 I needed to cancel the flights for financial reasons as I will no longer be able to go on holiday to Cape Town in February. When I contacted Travelstart to cancel the flights I was directed to Fly Safair the airline. Fly Safair then informed me that they could only refund based on the amount that Travelstart paid them as a third party and that the fee that Travelstart added to the fair would not be refunded. My advice to anyone booking flights: Do not book through Travelstart as they keep your money even if you cancel and do not actually receive a service.
I paid Thabo a deposit of R5500 to install an aluminium window and burglar gate on 29/5/2023. He has not honoured his commitment and has made several excuses and even said he was on his way to my house to install on several occasions but did not come. More recently he offered a refund but has not transfered the money to me.
I used the online app to place an order for delivery on 25th November 2022. I did not receive a confirmation and when I contacted the customer care number I was told to request a refund as the amount was showing on my credit card. In order to request the refund I have to send a bank statement to their E Mail address. A lot of work for me and no delivery, what a useless online service.
Treatment in August still not paid at end of October despite authorisation below. Dr now wants to hand me over to the credit bureau. This has still not been paid. Please let me know when it will be paid. Virtually every claim that I put in is rejected.
My wife was admitted to the Donald Gordon Medical Center in December 2021. Her stay was extended and despite the fact that the Professor gave a motivation for this and received an authorization for this, Sizwe Hosmed has still not paid the amount of R14000 which is for the additional days.
