FOOD MADE US VIOLENTLY SICK,GAVE US RUNNY TUMMYS,WE BOUGHT CHICKEN CHOWMEIN BUY1 GET1 F REE.FOOD WAS FLOATING IN OIL.COMPLAOMED TO THE OWNER ,HE HAS A TERRI LE ARROGANT ATTITUDE. SEEMS NOT TO CARE.IM VERY UPSET.MY 1ST AND LAST PURCHASE FROM THERE.
This branch sells such tiny burgers as big macs meals.They advertise their birthday meals ,had no stock of the Grimace shakes.had no ice cream as I was told but saw customers with ice-cream cones in their hands.*******s.they charge so heavily for tiny slap dash burgers.was my first gist n my last visit to this branch.My hubby jad to ask the hostess to pls prepare a new budget for him as the one he ordered was terribly prepared.waffle chips are soaked in oil and really fools the consumer compared to their advertised pics..never ever again!
I made a purchase on the 25th of April 2025 .the cashier was very rude and arrogant as I got in store and told me the card machines not working 2. I was overcharged for some items as I purchased s Variety of different snacks 3. Each item did not have an amount on the package. 4.I did not receive a receipt of my purchase and was told the wifi is mot working .iv never heard of such a well known establishment to not be able to give s receipt to a customer upon purchase. 5.the audacity to overcharge Me and still Rob me in my change. THIS IS THE 2ND COMPLIANT IV REVIEWED HERE AND THIS BUSINESS NEVER RESPONSE AT ALL. VERY DISSAPOINTING SERVICE
My husband and I went to this branch to eat on the 23rd of December 2023. Our waiters name was Pilani,a very young boy that seemed as though it washid first day on duty My hubby ordered the full house breakfast and I orderdthe doublecheese burger special and come for R99. Firstly.the place was very empty been it festive period so we thought service would be fast.We waited an hour for our meals to be delivered. My husband's meal was delivered icecoldso I went directly to the kitchen and returned it and asked fora hot replacement. My meal arrived half an hour later and was also ice cold.i returned it and requested afresher meal. The eggs that came with my husband's breakfast was so raw on the plate and the bacon was ice cold.He also requested to have 4slicesof toast instead of the 2 that accompany the meal.they returned the hot meal with 2 slice s until I asked for a managerwhose named seemed to be Sandile. The balance of the toast my husband requested did not even look like toast.it white as ever.My husband got up and went to look for Pilani telling him we requested lemon in the ice water which never arrived until my husband went to the kitchen When my meal arrived.it was Icecold and the utensils given to me.filthy as ever.somebody in the kitchen is not washing the dishes properly and this is very unhygienic.i returned my meal and asked for A hotter meal and clean utensils. What a terrble experience Wimpy!!! Your manager Sandile was not interested in our gripes we had because he was too attentive to a young lady that was dining alone and it looked like they were exchanging cell numbers whilst the customers are having the worst experience ever. I watched Sandile with this young lady.hr stood by her table for almost ,45 minutes talking to her and unbothered at the issues were we're experiencing with the terrible food n dirty utensils. My friend was seated opposite us and also had a bad experience.she ordered nuggets n chips for her baby n the nuggets were raw inside ahe also returned her meal to the kitchen . What's going on Wimpy.why are u allowing these franchises to tarnish your brand this way. I'm so digusted.i will never ever eat there again You have lost two valued customers. We would rather take our business elsewhere and support well deserved restaurants not reaturants like yours that serve their customers with filthy cutlery and Ice cold food. IM DISGUSTED AT THIS BRANCH... NEVER WILL I STEP FOOT THERE AGAIN
My husband did our monthly groceries at the workshop branch of PnP in Durban on the 23rd of December 2023He spent 3000 rand at the branch When he reached home he realised he had forgotten his work bag at the parcel counter as he found a round plastic sticker with the number 51on it in his pocket..I checked the time and called the branch asap and spoke to an Indian woman ,I relayed the story to her and she told Me i could come the next day and pick up the bag. The following day which was christmas eve I went directly to the manager's office as the store was very busy and approached an Indian woman..She was very reluctant to assist me an had a disgusting attitude towards me telling me that they charge R10 per hour for parcels left behind.We began having words with each other as I told her about my call the previous evening and I stated that I was not told on the telephone that we needed to pay for the bag that was left behind.She insisted she wants our till slip from the previous day to calculate how much we owe for the bag that was left behind.i told her the slip is at home.Thsts when she started been cheeky and disrespectful towards me..She treated my husband exactly the same way she was very arrogant and rude towards me as I was very irritated after her admitting that she is the only Indian woman in management and insisted I did not speak to her. .I told her that she did not tell me about the surcharge of R10 per hour for parcels left at the counter on the telephone. She screamed at me and told me 'don't u talk to me like that.'in return I told her i will speak to her in the way I feel fit as she does not have professional manners and I asked her if she is aware of the PnP policy that the 'Customer is King. I was so upset ,shocked and disgusted in her behaviour ,she left me in the office and walked out on me without assisting me and commented to me 'I hope u have a nice day.and i immediately made up my mind to ensure reporting this matter .she does not deserve to be in a managerial position(her colleague informed me )that she is assistant manager. How dare she treat me that way,raise her voice at me and had the audacity to walk out on me and not assist me..I want this woman disciplined as she has no customer care experience at all and does not deserve her position.I noticed she was wearing a black mask. I looked at her name badge and her name is Deshni or Deshna.This woman's behaviour left me reeling in shock as she is representing the pick n pay brand and treatinh customers with disrespect. A young Indian gentlemen (please excuse my descriptions of race)wearing glasses rescued me and calmed the entire situation down and apologised for the incident and said mam don't worry..I will get your husband's bag From the parcel counter at no charge.I also showed him my call register on my cell that i called the store the previous evening at 17.54pm as proof that I did call the store.He was so willing and able to helpand warmed my heart after that terrible manageress n her pathetic behaviour If I was her boss I would have disciplined her and demoted her immediately because her attitude is as though she is doing the customer s favour and she does not want to work.She has no people's person skills at all..He was also in the admin office at the time of the incident.Im not sure what his name is but he definately without a doubt deserves Deshnis position as he knows how to treat customers..She is rude,arrogant and has a terrible attitude and I woulf like a formal apology to my husband and I from her and I would like to be informed as to what disciplinary actions are taken against her please. My husband and I have decided to take our business to a more well deserving retailer that treats their customers with respect always.What a shame that such a well renowned retailer employs staff with bad mannerisms to represent their company.
THE PERSON IN CHARGE OF ANSWERING CUSTOMER QUERIES ON WHATSAP IS ABSOLUTELY RUDE IN THE BRICKFIELD ROAD BRANCH.NOT ALL OF THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY ANS SIME LOOK LIKE THEY DONT WANT TO ASSIST.I SENT A VOICE NOTE QUERING ASSISTANCE IN CERTAIN PERFUMES AND THE RESPONSE WAS 'KINDLY TYPE'.I WAS NOT PLACING MT ORDER ,I SUMPKY VOICCE NITE A QUERY AS I WAS BUSY AT WORK AND FOUND IT CONVENIENT TO SEND A QUIK VOICE NOTE.I WAS VERY OFFENDED AT HER ATTITUDE AND I KNOW ITS A FEMALE BECAUSE SHE HAS ASSISTED ME INSTORE N IS VERY UNFRIENDLY AND NEVER SMILES.SHE ALWAYS WEARS A HIJAB.EVEN WHEN SHE TRIED TO ASSIST MY QUERY.I WAS SENT A VERY UNTIDILY WRITTEN LIST OF THE AVAILABLE PERFUMES.I HAD TO ASK 50 TIMES WHICH VARIANT IT WAS.I HOPE THE OWNER OF BRICKFIFLD ROAD SEES THIS COMPLAINT AND DOES SOMETHING ABOUT IT BECAUSE HIS STAFFS ATTITUDE STINKS,ESPECIALLY THE WOMAN HANDLING THE COMPANYS WHATSAP
Last week i purchased a tray of pork sausages and was so dissapointed in the quality because as the sausages were frying each amd every single sausage shattered and split open n all the filling fell into my frying pan.Im not sure if it was the quality of the casing that it was filled in or if the sausages were injected with brine.i was so angry because i had guests over for dinner and had to throw them away.the strangest part was i did not ***** it with a fork or any sharp object as i was turning them.i used a plastic salad tongs to turn them as i no what happens to sausages if u turn them with a fork.very bad quality and very salty too.
I purchased beef mince from checkstar and when i cooked it the quality was shocking.it contained lots of hard grizzle and sinew and some other hard components and the mince quality just did not seem fit for human consumption.My family refused to eat it as it was horrible.i threw it away. I called the store and layed my complaint to a staff member from the butcher and take note informed them that i had thrown my receipt away and the packaging from thr mince.i was told i may come to the store and a fresh pack of mince would be prepared for me and replaced. I go to the store and spoke to the manager Imraan and told him of my dilemma.infront of other customers,i get told theres nothing he can do because i dont have my slip and they have a new supplier of mince.I asked why was mince not prepared in the store as i was told.he said they order the meat from a suppler that they make the mince with.after waiting almost 20 minutes for feedback from him,a staff member tells me he says thet cannot replace my mince without a receipt. I was furiuos as they made me wait at the butcher without saying a word or even trying to make me happy.its moy about a free pack of mince.its about replacing the bad quality mince that was purchased. I am a regular shopper at the store and the managers are familiar with me Imraan the butcher Manager does not know about customer care and after reading other reviews.it seems i am mot the only customer complaining about theor quality of mince been sold.very dissaponted in Imraans servuce.i will purchase my montjy meat supplies at another butcher in future
Hubby and i were at checkers the atrium.in durban doing monthly shopping.My hubby went to the cigarrette counter to draw cash.The front end controller named Bernadette,came rushing to the cashier at the cigarrette counter and started been very cheeky and arrogant to my husband telling him that the guy that was standing besides my husband came before him and he wanted to draw money first,in the mean time i noticed that he must have been a personal friend that she was assisting to skip the long que and took him to thefront of the que to be assisted with his withdrawal.I approached her and let her no very verbally that she has no right to disrespect my husband infront of a full store of customers.she was very very disrespeful and rude to us.Is this the kind of people u habe managing your store at month end ?She doesnt deserve to be in her position she has no customer service at all and it seems as thoigh she throws her postion around and has no way of talking to customers.was my husband ill treated because he is coloured.?because the gentleman she was so called assisting was not spoken to in that manner amd my husband was in the que before him and she chose to take the guy she knew to the front of the que which is absolutely nonsense and she still has the audacity to be rude to me.i go to the managers office and there is nobody of higher authority to assist me .Everybody was relaxing and chilling.i was very dissapointed with bernadette.How dare she disrespect us that way.!!please do not make her call me and apologise because i dont want her apology at all!the damage is done!and i am going to the media about this incident.And for your info.i spend a good few rands in checkers.so sorry checkers,i am taking my cash to spend somewhere else.And i was a regular customer.Pathetic customer service
