I would like to commend Ozow for their exceptional service and professionalism. After a frustrating experience with a failed online order and absolutely no help from the vendor or their payment partner, Ikhokha, it was Ozow who stepped in and resolved the issue. I had no idea Ozow was even involved in the transaction until I noticed "Oz-Ik Merchant" on my bank statement — and thank goodness I did! From the moment I contacted them, Ozow was responsive, helpful, and efficient. They investigated the issue, kept me informed, and ultimately ensured that I got my money back — something I’m convinced would never have happened without their intervention. It’s rare to come across a company that takes responsibility and truly cares about customer experience. Thank you, Ozow, for going above and beyond. Your professionalism really stood out, and I’m incredibly grateful for your help! Highly recommended!
I had a terrible experience with My Art Shop. I placed and paid for an order, but never received it — and despite multiple attempts to contact them and provide proof of payment, they offered no real help or resolution. Even after sending them all the evidence that the money was deducted from my account, they made no effort to assist me. Their communication was practically non-existent, and they showed no concern for the fact that a customer was out of pocket and frustrated. It was only after I discovered — by chance — that Ozow was involved in processing the payment (thanks to the "Oz-Ik Merchant" reference on my bank statement), that I was finally able to recover my money. Had I re**** on My Art Shop or Ikhokha (their listed payment provider), I highly doubt I would’ve been refunded at all. Incredibly disappointing service. I cannot recommend My Art Shop, and I caution others to be very careful when ordering from them.
I had a truly terrible experience with Ikhokha. A transaction I made through an online shop (My Art Shop) was clearly deducted from my account, but Ikhokha kept insisting it was declined — without providing any proof, despite claiming it was "attached." Their support was completely unhelpful, dismissive, and frustrating to deal with. They showed no intention of actually resolving the issue, and if it weren’t for Ozow (who I later discovered was the real payment processor behind the transaction), I’m convinced I would never have received my money back. Even worse, the vendor was just as unhelpful. I provided all the evidence, yet they made no effort to assist. Neither Ikhokha nor the vendor acknowledged any fault — it was only thanks to my own effort (and noticing "Oz-Ik Merchant" on my bank statement) that I tracked down the right people. Ikhokha's handling of this was appalling, and I can’t help but wonder how many others might have been de*****ed or simply ignored. Based on this experience, I would never recommend Ikhokha to anyone.
Bought merchandise from Myartshop.co.za, paid for it, money has been paid over to Ikhokha, (received a screenprint from OZOW of payment to Ikhokha) but merchant claims they did not receive the money???? Something is fishy here!!!

Someone stole my money!!! Reported it to SAPS and my bank as *****! Be carefu with this online shop in Durban!

Good day. I bought some items on 01/02/2024, order ID MAK5962405/0189240523, Customer H Adendorff. It took nearly 3 weeks for the faulty item to be picked up on 21/02/2024! I requested a repair, but when I called (06 March 2024) to find out what the situation is, the operator told me that I will be refunded. The operator told me that the refund has not been processed yet. On the same day I have received a sms stating that the repair ID 2896218 has been booked in! So, this is very confusing! Today on 12/03/2024 I called again, twice. The 1st time I asked to speak to a manager but gave up after 15 minutes. Called again. Spoke to Goodwin who only told 1stly that I have been refunded - which is a lie. Then he said a refund has been created on 12 March, that is why it is not showing - another lie. Then he corrected himself by saying he will check on the system. Then he told me that the refund has not been processed yet and that it must be escalated again as the refund has not been processed still, and he has spoken to his manager, and he will escalate it AGAIN! This is the WORST customer service I have received EVER! I will NEVER buy at Makro again! A Copy of this letter will be posted on HelloPeter as well as on every other social media platform I can access! Please assist to sort this problem as I see on HelloPeter that there are many customers who complains that they have waited MANY MONTHS on end to be refunded! Is this how a big orginisation as Makro do business?

Michelle, julle kantoor dame, het gesê dat julle die afgelope Saterdag 'n funksie gehad het en dat julle soooooooooo besig is dat julle nie laas week foto's van hierdie spesifieke plekke aan my kan stuur nie! Maar, sy het gesê dat sy ons bespreking "blok" sodat sy tyd kan kry om die foto's aan te stuur, en sodat die 48 uur wat ons tyd het om te betaal nie verval nie! Wel ek het tot vandag nog nie die foto’s ontvang nie! En nou het ek ʼn e-pos ontvang dat ons bespreking gekanselleer is! Ek probeer al van gister af om julle telefonies in die hande te kry, maar die oproep gaan eenvoudig nie deur nie! Hierdie is die SWAKSTE diens wat ek nog van ʼn kampeerplek gekry het! Julle dwing ons as kliënte om binne 48 uur TEN VOLLE te betaal vir iets wat ons nie weet hoe dit lyk nie, maar ‘n eenvoudige versoek van ons kant af om foto’s van die drie staanplekke aan ons te stuur, kan julle na AGT DAE nie aan voldoen nie! Ek verwag dat julle die bespreking ONMIDDELIK herstel en die foto’s ONVERWYLD aan my stuur! Dit is die MINSTE WAT JULLE KAN DOEN! Ons wou al van laas week af betaal, maar kon nie!
Makro's service SUCK! I have provided the correct telephone number to contact me for delivery - MAKRO re-typed it incorrect, so my my parcel was not delivered, although I have received an e-mail that it was delivered! When phoning, Molwantha and Nthabiseng,🤬 at 0860600999 they do not want me to speak to a supervisor! NOT ACCEPTABLE!!! I have placed my order 26/3/2023 and have not received it up to date!
