My account was suspended without notice. I had gone to the Cornubia branch to ask if I should make payment they said no I should wait for the debit order on the 25th and that was on Tuesday now my account is suspended I went this morning to make payment at pick and pay and the account is still suspended.
I was denied a car because they thought I wasn't good enough as I had one missed payment history which I provided the paid up letter for and then they used my other account which was up to date to give me the run around and delay my procedure as they said it was showing a default. Of which even when I ran my own credit checks it stated that there were no defaults. I mean they should have said they don't want to give me the car. Funny thing is they wouldn't even show me the credit check they ran that showed the default which meant they knew what they doing. I will never consider them again.
I drafted a complaint last week about Capitec handing me over to the bureau and stating that my account has a default when I've been paying on time. Since then consultants have called me and have done a lousy job of transferring me to the connection department which hasn't been answering the phone. I still haven't received a concrete answer or acknowledgment that Capitec made a mistake by entering me into the credit bureau knowing very well the account is up to date. I would not advise anyone to get a Capitec account. Actually, I will be taking the legal route. Worst service ever. I will be settling the account and leaving that bank. Also the branch where I initially went to call out this mistake told me that the regional manager was going to send an email to the department and I haven't heard communication since then.
On the 25th my debit order for Capitec was due. Since my salary only came in at 2am the debit order couldn't process. I then went to the branch at Mall of Africa to inquire what I should do and I asked if I could pay in store and they told me to transfer. I got home I did the transfer and I paid my settlement for August then at midnight on the 25th the debit order went off. Which means I let two payments go through. Now when I apply for vehicle finance it reports Capitec handed me over for a missed payment. Which is false because I went to the branch and my account isn't in arears. I was falsey handed over and now they don't want to acknowledge their mistake and give me the letter saying so. Quick to handover but slow to acknowledge mistake. The person who made the error should be fired. Also all departments couldn't assist.
I would like to lay two complaints against Nedbank Mall of Africa. One for falsely saying a card had been blocked and two for duplicate transactions. On the 15 of July 2021, I went to the branch to replace my card as my phone was stolen and the card as well. The lady assured me that she had blocked the stolen card and the new one has been activated. Fast forward to today, I logged on to my app and I find that the card is still active and that I now have two cards active. I then blocked it myself on the app. This meant that from the 15th of July 2021 - 26th July 2021 my money was at risk should have the thieves decided to tap my card. Also in the same breath, Nedbank conducted a duplicate transaction on my account. On Saturday 24th July 2021 , I processed a payment for rent; the payment then went to Scheduled payments and informed me it would be released today (26th July 2021). Sunday morning the same transaction went off and my balance showed a double transaction. I went to the branch, I asked the teller and the teller said he doesn't know how it happened. I felt that answer was unknowledgeable and negligent. He went on to say if I know the individual the money went to I should contact them. Suddenly it is now my responsibility to account for Nedbank's technical glitches. This amount is still a pending debit it hasn''t even reached the landlord. How sure am I that it is even going to reach them? Or it will stay hanging in the air. After this it makes anxious to be a Nedbank client and after being a client for over 10 years this is shocking
My friend and I met up for lunch at second story previously known as Joe's corner. It was our first time there. Our waitress was Theron. When we arrived there was a bottle of water with glasses on the table of which I poured half a glass. When it was time to pay the bill the waitress informed us that the bottle was R60.00 even though I only had half a glass and didn't know that the water wasn't free of charge. Also I raised that there isn't a sign that the water is not for free hence, this may be a way to trap customers into paying. Also no waitress informed us that the water isn't free of charge
I have had an ongoing problem with vodacom overcharging on data. The other day i bought 2gb which was gone the next day. Today i only used 2 websites which I wasn't on for 8mins and 3gb was gone. I am considering changing network cause of the overcharges and if you buy 10 minutes voice the call will end at 7mins. Like wth
I had an MTN account which went into default. I have paid up my account and received the paid up letter. Yet, I still haven't received clearance there is no contact information on Transunion. MTN legal has followed up twice on the matter. Please assist.
