Investec responds immediately
I recently posted a complaint about Investec, but I have to say they dealt with my complaint immediately. A staff member had given me incorrect information, which was the cause of the problem.

Diagnosed and repaired in minutes. No charge.
Excellent service from the guys at Bloemfontein Ford this morning. Thanks, guys, for rescuing this damsel in distress. A loose heat shield was diagnosed immediately and repaired in minutes. No charge. This kind of customer service is why I drive a Ford.

Investec summarily blocks access to my accounts
Investec has summarily closed my account because, according to them, I have not re-FICA'd. I received no notification by email or sms to warn me this would happen. Besides the fact that my debit orders are going to bounce as a result, I'm stuck in the middle of the Karoo with insufficient funds to return home. Is this behaviour even legal?

NEVER pay SANParks online
Whatever you do, do NOT pay SANParks online because your payment will disappear out of your bank account and SANParks will claim they never received payment. They don't answer their phones, and any email you sent will come back with the reply that the matter is closed. Total incompetence and no communications.

Outsurance is always there for you. Whether it's giving you payouts, repairing your car, or just reassessing your premium, they are always willing to listen and help. I just wish they'd start a medical aid. That would be a revolution!

Outstanding service from Trailer Acc in Silverton
Trailer Acc aka Leisure World in Silverton, Pretoria provided excellent customer service recently when I ordered the last of a discontinued range of camping chair. They found one at another branch, brought it to Silverton and I collected it from them within a day of my placing the order. Excellent service from an excellent team. Thank you.

Excellent service from Dominic at Centurion

Camp&Climb Centurion's Tercia
I wanted a sturdy tent that I could erect on my own. After the one I wanted proved unsuitable for a woman to erect on her own, Tercia at Centurion Camp&Climb recommended the Oztrail fast frame 4-man tent. He ordered it and watched as I erected it on my own. I recently used it for a week in the Kruger Park and it was perfect for my needs. I found it simple to erect, and very comfortable., and would recommend this tent to anyone, including women on their own. I highly commend Tercia for his excellent advice and very reliable service.
