Tried to buy things online from them. Used my card to pay and the money got deducted from my bank account. But then the order shows as cancelled? So now the money was taken out my account but order is not placed?
I know them as Inqb8. Been living in a complex which they own/manage, but they are so *********** when it comes to maintenance. We moved in during Jan 2023 and reported a window leak during the first few days of living here. A maintenance team did arrive and fiddle with the rain gutter above the window which was causing the issue, but the issue still persisted as we witnessed with the next rainfall. Last time I reported this, the maintenance team arrived eventually and literally only took a picture of the gutter and head off. After that I have not seen them again. I've sent multiple complaints regarding this and now I'm getting in trouble for hanging bedding on the balcony. BUT I HAVE TO BECAUSE OUR ROOM FLOODED FROM THE WINDOW. Our time being in the complex has been horrible and management/maintenance is truly ***********. Always quick to charge you for things but when you need them to to their job then they are utterly useless. If you plan to have your patience tested then do consider renting from this company.
I recently bought the MTN Unlimited LTE package with a new router. It has been more than a week since I set the sim and router up, but still no internet connectivity. Gonna be quite furious if I get billed for this period, as I have not been able to use the internet at all... Giving them another day or 2 to resolve the issue otherwise I'm moving to another ISP.
The public beneficiary used to pay home loans is not working. I've been waiting a few days now for a payment to reflect, and when I tried to make another payment using the beneficiary, it shows "The service is currently unavailable. Please try again later, while we investigate"
Mixed feelings. I have both the 4G and 5G subscriptions. The quality of your connection really depends on your location and coverage. My 4G in the Free State works fine, but my 5G in Western Cape is horrendous. Haven't tested the 4G during loadshedding, but with the 5G - connectivity is not guaranteed throughout loadshedding. 5G upload speeds are also non-existent, which is my biggest headache with the service.
I have been receiving calls for about 3 weeks now from a caller with ID "Standard Bank Mobile". On average I get 3 calls from them daily, but whenever I answer, there's silence on the other side and they just hang up. They also call using different numbers. I'm having trouble with my home loan account. When I tried calling the number provided on the app when you want to query a transaction, it referred me to another number for urgent enquiries. I called that number, and then the dialer said that the number do not exist. This is extremely pathetic. When I also go to a branch, they tell me to call the call center. I do so. The call center refer me to the branch. I mean COME ON!
The bank where I got home loan approval suggested me to use Phatsoane Henney as the bond attorneys to handle the home loan process. It has been OVER 4 MONTHS since I had went to sign the bond documents and the approval to lodge hasn't happened yet. When I call to follow up, the problem is apparently always somewhere else. I had swift response at the beginning, but then it escalated to me having to call once a week to follow up, otherwise I don't get news. The software they use to indicate the process of your bond registration is inaccurate. It showed that I signed the mortgage documents even before they had contacted me initially. This makes me feel very uneasy. Seeing that this isn't your every day type of transaction. Data should be correct and not wonky. I also paid them the full amount of handling the bond registration as soon as they sent me the invoice, but now I'm just feeling like they can take their time because they already "scored" from me.
In the process of buying a home. I made several Call-Me-Back requests on their website over a few days, but never received a call back. I went to a branch with all my documentation and they scanned all my documents and said to mail it to the home loans department. After a few days I called to follow up on my home loan application, just to find out that there's no footprint of me applying for a home loan on their systems whatsoever. At this point I gave up and went to other banks. Then I got a call a few days later from FNB about my home loan application and whether I have been assisted yet. I told them no, along with all the steps I had taken before to apply. The employee apologised for the inconvenience and then said that he will mail all the necessary application documents to me. Till this day I haven't received any mail from them. This is just poor service - seriously.
