Three times I booked via AF website but because I use a wheelchair I could not pay as their precious Sapphir time had to verify my chair information. You have to pay within 24 hours otherwise you lose your booking. Needless to say the precious Sapphir team did not contact me within 24 hours so I lost my booking - I repeated this twice with same result (including via travel agent). Till today no one from the precious Sapphir team contacted me. I ended up having to travel via a hub adding 8 hours to a 10 hour journey. Their social media Whatsapp team can't help so they are quite useless; their phone number just rings most of the time and when you do get through they can't help so they are quite useless too. As for the Sapphir team - just useless, period. Avoid Air France - they just don't care (judging from the other reviews also)
I wrote a review recently about having to return a Dell item purchased on dell.co.za First Technologies is a reseller of Dell products in SA. But correspondence comes from a First Shop email address. Following my negative review on Hello Peter, someone from First Shop and tried to explain the set up. I don't really care. They are all related to my purchase. They also said something would call me - nobody did. I did a confirmation that my return was approved but that I would be charged 15% as I used the item - of cost I did: how else would I know the item was not working for my laptop. I informed Dell and First Technology and towns the item over three weeks ago. None of these parties are abiding by the Consumer Protection Act. I didn't find returns policy on either the Dell website or on First Technology. The only think I credit First Shop for is that at least they respond on Hello Peter. But at the end I'm still worse off.
I bought a Dell docking station from dell.co.za which turned out to not be strong enough to power my Dell laptop (I found within 3 days and reported it timeously to both Dell and First Technologies). First Technologies is obviously a reseller for Dell as on the invoice they are named (in their emails they reply from First Shop so I assume they are same). I reached out to both Dell and First Technology / First Shop and they both point to each other for return and refund which I requested. First Technology/Shop told me I need to contact Dell whatsapp to get their consent; Dell says I must take it up with the reseller. Weeks later I have an unused docking station and no refund. The service is pathetic; they don't care. They are all ****e I am posting this on both First Technologies and First Shop reviews because at least I see with First Shop they read and respond.

The Hearing Works is within Vision Works in Rosebank Mall. I took my Mum for hearing loss testing, providing of sample aid and eventually purchasing of hearing aids. Tally was an incredible professional - authentic, kind, patient, diligent and took time with my Mum for all three appointments. Highly recommend Tally!
I thought it was a good idea to open up a secondary business bank account and decided on Standard. The process of getting the documents signed was relatively simple (not as fast as I would prefer but still not bad). But to get internet and app internet banking has been a major obstacle. I still don't have my cheque card which I believe is needed to set up the internet and app profiles. When I try calling the business call centre number to find out if my card is available at the selected branch it just blares out music and no answer for over an hour so I gave up. Makes me wish I had chosen another bank or maybe stuck with my current one. What's more the app asks to take a photo of your face and says it will take 3 mins to 12 hours for Home Affairs to verify my ID. I have done this twice. Six days later I am still waiting. Pathetic service - and people wonder why small businesses struggle in SA. This is one of the reasons: because even the private sector is as shoddy as the public one.
