My Honest opinion as a filmmaker why Ster-Kinekor isn't thriving anymore but instead it's dying and my childhood nostalgia and loyalty is fading and instead growing for Nu-Metro again. I don't know I'm constantly giving Ster-Kinekor the benefit of the doubt just to be let down by disservice of bad sound or a contrasty picture or even 3D that doesn't work. Throw back to wen Black Panther Wakada forever was released a friend of mine and I went as Marvel fans to watch it at Kolonnade just to be disappointed with 3D not working and re-watching the opening of the film until the marvel logo sting ran three times after still not being resolved and we ending up leaving asking for a refund. Kolonades Ster-Kinekors' service went down the drain that's why it closed. Throwback to 2015 with Mad max fury road we had a very contrasty picture also with complaints. There were also the occasional sound being too soft at times. All of this just building up helping a review coming a long time now. After covid things took a dive in service at Ster-Kinekor. The year was 2022 watching The Batman at Ster-Kinekor George again sound issues and it sounded like a mouse playing with something inside the back speaker, after complaining no resolve. Getting closer to what the breaking point for was this year but first lest go to my favourite Ster-Kinekor and with IMAX mind you is the buzzling The Grove Mall. Last year a good friend and I went to watch Bad boys ride or die and I just wanted to die that's how bad the sound was, it was soft again and I could have easily had a better surround experience at home with my home surround sound system. Getting to te release of Gladiator II at IMAX and o boy I couldn't wait, just to be disappointed with soft sound at IMAX which made me laughed so hard when the IMAX of shattering sound advert came on. Getting to 2025 - Went to watch Thunderbolts a week ago also at the grove Mall and what have you sound was also poor and had to get up to go and complain to staff. They assured me it will be resolved asap and still had to sit though a terrible experience of poor sound quality. I have good quality video clips as effidence which I'll be submitting with my story to Media 24 as I have contacts there and I'm now fed up of poor service from Ster-Kinekor ruining the movie goer's experience.
The date is 23 December 2024 Total N14 South bound towards Centurion from Mulder's drift when you walk into the the shop towards the mug and bean it sounds like you are about to enter a shebeen. Why has everything need to sound like a shebeen these days. It makes the shopping experience unpleasant.
My experience with Vox since signing up has been nothing but terebal. Since signing up with them my line keeps dropping out. The same experience I had with MWEB. The "Vox" assured me high and low they'll log a ticket for Metro Fibre to come and fix my line. About a month ago an employee of them by the name William Dowry contacted me. At first with all the nice words and back and forth he smeared a lot of honey. "But" it became very evident quickly that Vox employees are *********** to get to a resolute because they ask you the same questions over and over with the same problem as if the they didn't took notice the first time. It's been more then a month later since Mr William Dowry called me on my line drop out and no one from Metro fibre has been here to fix my line. It's pathetic to say the least.
SARS is very pathetic in delivering a public service. They complain about not getting the necessary public or business compliance for ANNUAL returns but the people that need to do their job properly are pathetic in doing so to say the least. I had an appointment with the Doringkloof branch to call me 16 August 2023 at 10 this morning for my personal returns and 10:30 for my Business returns to sort out my e Filling which they failed to call me back. I attempted to call them seeing that they don't call me or are unable to commit and keeping to set meetings. I eventually got through but a Miss Leratho wasn't in the mood to do work today and hung up on me because they are *********** in doing their job properly at SARS. I have been struggling for three years now to sort out my SARS since COVID because of *********** personnel or staff at SARS.
Very friendly help when I purchased my spotify 3 months card at BT Games Kolonnade but they have no after sale support and come up with excuse after excuse when I needed support on a card that I lost part of the number on when I scratched the code. I'm not impressed with the after sale to ask for assistance now I lost R180 which is down the drain. If this is how they handle customers, I would say steer away from buying from them. Very poor

Mweb is the worst internet service provider. Their promises are empty and they are dropping the ball hard. I hope this review reaches media 24 or any other reporting site to investigate how bade mweb really is and report on that so that they just do us a favor and close their freaken doors. Nobody needs service as bad as this.
Mweb is a company that is all talk and no show. They constantly **** the bed. After adsl and Lte I took their **** I decided to get rain as they offered beter packages but was disappointed as well after a while. Thought I'd give them another chance with Fibre but the constantly **** the bed. I have to call them every end of the week to tell them I have connection problems but only end up waiting my time and call minutes. I'm very very disappointed with their service so don't even bother signing up with them.
