When I think of any interaction I have had with Airbnb, the first thing that comes to mind is the quote: 'abandon all hope, ye who enter here!' A nightmare of a company, and the kings of over complicating, where the red tape never ends and talking to any agent feels like chewing glass. I wish that on the day I created an Airbnb profile, a warning screen had popped up and told me to run and never look back.
KFC Parys has had a losing streak in my books over the past week. Their staff are fantastic and the service is usually fantastic, but their whole online ordering system is pure trash. Over the last week, I attempted to order online on three different occassions. All three times, I received a message telling me that my order has been cancelled because they could not find a driver. I'm sorry, but your system is dysfunctional. There's no other fast food place where this kind of thing happens. What are you actually on? Really pathetic, KFC. It means I probably won't be supporting you in future because I'll always be wondering whether I'm going through the entire rigmarole on a website which is NOT user friendly, just to wait 30 mins to an hour before finding out my order was cancelled.
All I can say is WOW! First of all, the prices are unbelievable. I ordered a velvet Ottoman with gold rim at only R200 with a delivery fee to Parys, Free State of only R25. Due to the above I did not expect much - but I was pleasantly surprised! Here is what was most awesome about my experience: the delivery guys contacted me tonight to let me know they would be at my door in 30 minutes. They had been trying to contact me multiple times throughout the day, calls which I sadly missed, but never gave up until they reached me. As I had put my office down as delivery address, I asked if they could possibly deliver to my home as it is after hours - they kindly obliged with no complaints. When they arrived, both men were super friendly and helpful, even though they have to be on the road so late and for such long hours. The product is beautiful and in received in perfect condition. I am so grateful to those two awesome guys! Would give 10 stars if I could.
I used to love ordering from this place, now it's almost impossible. These days if you go online anywhere after 18h00, it suddenly says the restaurant is not accepting orders. Not sure if their business hours changed or it's due to loadshedding, but what's the point of ordering takeout when you don't even deliver? Too bad.
Reviewing on behalf of my mother, who is a client with Telkom. In July, my mother paid her account up to date and requested a contact number to cancel her service. She was told by the Telkom consultant, an Andile, that they would forward her forms or documents to assist with her cancellation. To date she has not received said forms. Since the day she asked for the cancellation, my mother has not been using their service. The device is not even plugged in and has not been charged since, and is sitting put away inside her cupboard. However, she is receiving ridiculous bills every month. We have tried to get in touch with them to confirm the cancellation, but there is absolutely no info available online that makes it in any way clear what steps to follow. The only number we could find automatically disconnects the call before the first ring. Their WhatsApp chat function is useless and infuriating. Their website is dysfunctional. There is no way to get in touch with any human representative who can assist.
I applied for a quote via Facebook- this was quick and easy. Ryan Laruffa was quick to phone me back and take me through the process of getting covered. Ryan was friendly, helpful and informative and I am satisfied with the quality of service I received. I look forward to getting coverage from this company.
What a circus. I ordered three books for a total of over R700 on the 29th of July. First off, there is zero tracking for your orders. You simply get sent to a massive list of different countries with estimated arrival times based on where your order is shipped from. It specified that for my order to SA, shipping would take maximum 60 days to arrive. On the 6th of October I sent a mail enquiring after the progress of my order. A person replied, apologising and saying they would send me a brand new order: ie, I would have to wait another 60 days. To this day still waiting and they even have the audacity to mail me asking to review the books. At this point, I just want a refund. I will never support them again nor recommend them to anyone else.
I saw a lot of negative reviews about PC Link, and so would like to share my positive experience. I received my order promptly and in perfect condition. Waiting time was less than a week. Whilst there was no communication regarding tracking details, which seems to be a point of complaint in many reviews and which caused a little worry, I am very satisfied with the service & products I received. Thank you PC Link!
