NO DELIVERIES!!! SCAM!!!
I ordered a book late October 2021, which never arrived. However after some exchange of emails, they assured me I'll receive the book within 10-15 days of working days. That was mid December 2021. It's now late April 2022 and still I have not received my book. They also didn't give me a tracking number which was very odd provided they claim to be largest book seller across the world. I believe they never sent it to begin with and it's all just a SCAM!!!

this is below 1 star. i ordered a book 2.9.2022 that was dispatched 4.9.2022 and is with me 9.2.2022. the bookcompany choose the courier and worked with the local post office, which is an absolute no go for any professional online shop. on top of that they sent the wrong book - after 5 months! terrible service, do not order there

No delivery or refund of books ordered after 6 months
Order for books placed and payed for on 27 July 2021- following several communications over the last 6 months re order and eventual promise to refund R899.00 nothing has been received. Refunding of the order could easily take place by a credit refund on credit card used to make payment - but to no avail.... Pathetic service!

Book not received
I bought a book on 01/10/2021. Got an email to say book was send on 05/10/2021. I am still waiting. After lots of emails they said they refunded me on 12/12/2021. It will take 2-6 days. I am still waiting. Now they give me some kind of pin/number as say i must track my refund. Big scam

Book not received

Total dog show with Book Depository
What a circus. I ordered three books for a total of over R700 on the 29th of July. First off, there is zero tracking for your orders. You simply get sent to a massive list of different countries with estimated arrival times based on where your order is shipped from. It specified that for my order to SA, shipping would take maximum 60 days to arrive. On the 6th of October I sent a mail enquiring after the progress of my order. A person replied, apologising and saying they would send me a brand new order: ie, I would have to wait another 60 days. To this day still waiting and they even have the audacity to mail me asking to review the books. At this point, I just want a refund. I will never support them again nor recommend them to anyone else.
