I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding the treatment and advice provided for my Yorkie. On 1 January 2026, my dog experienced a seizure and was seen at Rosmead Vet. She was prescribed heart medication and a water pill. Two weeks later, while on holiday, she suffered another episode. We sought care at another veterinary practice near our location, where they conducted tests and an ultrasound, provided a detailed report, and advised that based on their findings, the medication was not required. We shared this report with Rosmead Vet to seek guidance. Despite the report clearly stating that the medication was unnecessary, we were advised to continue administering it in the dog’s best interest. We purchased the prescribed medication, but a few days later, my dog experienced another seizure. We then consulted a third veterinary professional at the SPCA, who, after reviewing the same report, confirmed that the medication should not have been administered and that her heart was fine. We requested reimbur*****t from Rosmead Vet for the unused medication, which cost nearly R1,000, but were informed that once medication leaves the premises, refunds are not possible. This policy, in this context, has left us with medication that is incorrect and potentially harmful, and is extremely concerning. I find this situation highly unprofessional and disappointing. The advice provided not only caused unnecessary stress and expense but also put my dog’s health at risk. It is deeply troubling that financial considerations were prioritized over the wellbeing of my pet.
My sister and aunt went to the Ottery Traffic department and is appalled by the service and treatment they received by Zulfa Matthews. She has no etiquette on how to speak to people, as someone providing a service you should know how to deal with people. She becomes visibly agitated and raises her voice while explaining the eye test process which creates discomfort for those involved. She screamed that the entire passage of people could hear. There's definitely a lack of customer service and we will never ever go back to that branch and will make it known to others as well. We feel that this eye test is not accurate and set at an incorrect setting, the eye test began with smaller size visuals instead of starting with larger ones and progressively reducing in size. THIS NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT AS SHE MAKES YOU FEEL SMALL AND ***********.
Two months ago I contacted Mike's Place for an engine for my vehicle. I was told the price is R15,000 and that as soon as I have the cash I can get the engine. I saved for 2 months and when I called them to purchase the engine, the price increased by an additional R2500. They aren't true to their word and take advantage of people in need. I am not happy with the way they conduct business. I called another place which I also spoke to 2 months ago and they honored the price initially provided to me, which I am grateful for. When I expressed my unhappiness in the matter, I was told I am welcome to complain as it does not harm their business which I found to be very sarcastic. They do not even deserve one star.

I received sms from money shop stating loan approved directaxis but direct axis says declined. Why am I sent approved loan but not really approved
