I don’t know where this company gets their records but I was badly treated by their security company over a false car registration marking. Initially I was told they obtained that information from SAPS. I consulted the station that was said to have made the alert on my car registration and nothing was found from their side. There were no records that my car was ever marked or had a case from that station. When I asked to be provided with information as to where did they get that information as a private security company, they stated from Vuma. Asked to be provided with Vuma’s number so I know where they got that information and till this day they can’t provide that information.
I ordered a wardrobe online for R4299. Delivered and during assembly that’s when I notices some pieces where broken and some parts missing. The holes are bigger than the provided nail. Sent my complaint but the service I’m getting is soo poor. I have to now buy a new wardrobe when I actually paid for one.
One thing about Capitec they never take their clients serious. Logged a complaint and I got a call on Friday saying they will try to resolve it but till today I haven’t heard from them. Don’t even respond and say I’ll get a call because at this point I have to escalate further.
I’ve been receiving the worst service ever from Capitec in relation to a credit card incident. I took out a credit card worth R25000 with Capitec, used R4900 and woke up with a balance of zero the next day with no previous record. Called and told the money disappeared but they don’t know where to. I’ve been following up and I keep being pushed from one person to another. So far it’s been over a month and I’m told my case was resolved yet I wasn’t given any feedback. Each time I want to speak to a manager I’m told they will call me back but no one does. At this point I wouldn’t advice anyone to use Capitec bank. Their customer service is the worst.
Called home connect she spoke to Nhlanhla who assisted me with resolving my query in relation to activation. He was soo professional and patient with me. At the end of the call my query was resolved in a way the I’m satisfied with l.
I was a tenant at Route 82 since 01/10/2021 my lease expired on 30/09/22 and I extended it resulting in me paying an extra R250.00 for the month. Begin in of October I learned that we will be getting salary cuts this I cannot afford to pay for rental anymore, I terminated my lease which my last day would be the 31st October 2022. I had to pay the early termination fine of R13000 which I did pay on the 27th of October 2022, I then moved out on the 29th of October 2022, on inspection everything was said to be in order, the only penalties I had to pay was repainting the wall which would cost R1950 and cleaning fee of R450, meaning that’s a total of R2400. According to the lease it stated that my deposit would be refunded within 14 days of vacating the premises and the balance together with the interest accumulated would be refunded to me after they have deduced the amount I owe them which is R2400 in this case, my 14th day was the 12th of November thus I assumed my deposit would reflect on the 14th November 2022 since the 12th was a Saturday. When I realised my deposit was not refunded I called and spoke to Sarah who said it’s 14 working days but the lease said 14 days? So I was calm and agreed to wait till Thursday the 17th of November 2022. I called and Spoke to Klara whom then asked if I’m calling in relation to the deposit refund that had to be paid and I said yes. She stated that am I aware that I terminated my lease prematurely? And I said yes hence I paid the penalty of R13000 on the 27th of October. She then said she’ll call me back. She called and said they don’t have my banking details hence the refund was not paid. I was calm about it and provided the banking details, she said I should send before 11H00 so payment can be made that was around 10H00 I said I’ll send and asked her to confirm when she receives it, she did confirm receipt and said she’s waiting for the finance lady to find out if payment could be done on the day? Meaning now the story has changed, fine I stayed calm about it. Later I had to be the one calling back and she said the finance lady will only be able to assist me with paying the refund on Friday the 18th of November 2022 and since they pay from an ABSA account then it might reflect on Monday the 20th of November 2022. On Saturday morning the 19th of November I received the same deposit amount with no interest? How so because the lease states clearly that my deposit will accumulate interest? And I honoured my lease my paying early termination penalties, why can’t route 82 do the same? And the payment reference doesn’t include my unit number. Someone needs to account because there’s foul play here. Mind you I was once a tenant at Manhattan Lofts which is also a part of Cosmopolitan projects thus I know the refund process. My deposit was R6200 at Manhattan and my move out inspection penalties was R2200 for repainting the unit and on day 14 I received my refund of R9200, which had a payment reference of my then unit number? Since it’s the same lease with the one I signed at Route 82 why is there a difference in the deposit refund. So this is what I noted at Route 82 1. My deposit was not paid on time that was stipulated on the lease. 2. My deposit did not accumulate any interest. 3. My unit reference was not included on the payment how certain am I that it’s the correct amount. The problem here is Route 82 and someone needs to account. I’ll wait for a response if none then I’ll escalate, y’all bridged the lease agreement and I’m not willing to let this slide.
Recently purchased my car from we buy cars in Germiston and I was assisted by Kobus. The service he rendered was exceptional. Not to forget the lady at finance Linda ☺️ Her patience and service was everything
I’ve had the worst experience with this courier company, the worst part is there’s no one willing to take full responsibility by acknowledging their delay in my order. Been calling their call center department since the 17th and I’ve been getting different stories. When I asked for a senior person I was told they don’t work on weekends. And the consultant had the nerve to hung up that phone.
