This company blocked my wife from one of the WhatsApp groups when my wife complained about poor service. We then recently discovered that they have a fee for pensioners and although they were aware that I have been a pensioner for over 4 years, they charged us more than double the fee for pensioners all this time. When we discovered this, we informed them on 09 September 2025 that we are cancelling our contract with them. The lady we informed, assured my wife that we will still be covered to END SEPTEMBER 2025 and that they will cancel the debit order. They attempted to keep us as a client with the reduced fee they charge pensioners. We declined. Now on the 1st October 2025, they deducted another full payment (not pensioner fee). When I queried this, they claimed we only cancelled on 25 September 2025 (which was the date when we declined their reduced fee). When that attempt did not work, they claimed they sent me a cancellation document on 25 September and that document was proof that I was aware of an applicable 1 month notice period. When I requested proof of the e-mail where that alleged document was sent, they could not provide it because such a document was never sent. So when this attempt did not work either, they ignored the fact that we were assured by one of their employees that the debit order would be cancelled and we would still have security cover until the end of SEPTEMBER (NOT OCTOBER) and claimed this one month notice period was part of the original contract. I have proof of all of this. So, beware!!!

I don’t know where this company gets their records but I was badly treated by their security company over a false car registration marking. Initially I was told they obtained that information from SAPS. I consulted the station that was said to have made the alert on my car registration and nothing was found from their side. There were no records that my car was ever marked or had a case from that station. When I asked to be provided with information as to where did they get that information as a private security company, they stated from Vuma. Asked to be provided with Vuma’s number so I know where they got that information and till this day they can’t provide that information.

I have been a Mamba client for almost six years now,I am writing this review to thank them all from admin,security personnel, technical support ect.Mamba response is immaculate and effective. When ever I had a problem Mamba has helped me and also very understanding. I want give a special thank you to Sonika Terblanche,she is always very friendly and helpful and gets problems sorted out asap.To me Sonika is a loving and caring person and she shows it in her job,Mamba should be very proud to have a technical manager like Sonika who is devoted to her work and the company.Keep up the good work Mamba!!

I have been a Mamba client for almost six years now,I am writing this review to thank them all from admin,security personnel, technical support ect.Mamba response is immaculate and effective. After reading the reviews so far, it’s no wonder people don’t recommend this company. Same as what happened to our country. This is very disappointing as Mamba were very good couple of years ago. At 22:30 on Thursday 7th of November, at the boomed area of Palliser and Erasmus Roads in the rain, The Security Guard thought it was a brilliant Idea to drop the boom on my son’s head and his motorbike, pushing him and the bike to the ground, accruing injuries to his neck and damaging the bike so badly it was unrideable. The following morning was collected by the workshop break down bakkie. At 6:50 Friday 8th Nov I called Mamba to report the mater. Speaking to JP assuring me he would pass it on to manager. “NOTHING CAME OF IT” At midday of the 8th, I called again, after explaining the incident to about 6 different people, as no one was going to take responsibility, I was advised that the matter was under “INVESTIGATION”. Today the 11th still no feedback, calling them again explaining the accident countless times as none was aware of the incident, “bearing in mind that the boom area has surveillance cameras” that the last person hangup on me. I recalled Mamba, and advised the receptionist of my intention to go to the press in regards to this case, and the manner it was being delt with. The answer I received was like this is normal, people are obviously always complaining to them and I can go write ahead with my decision. I wounder I the owner of Mamba Security Company knows exactly how his business is being run.

Bribes for jobs. Mamba Security is management os very *******, the control room managers take bribes from vulnerable job seekers. 🙄 I went for an interview, it was the 3 of us there, all went well until this manager said he was willing to take me if i paid R1000 the money is meant to encourage the other white manager & Hr, I was defeated as I didn't have & had no hope of getting anywhere. I stayed in touch with the ladies I was with there & they confirmed that they made a plan, paid him & they started working. I understood that that was the only way to get employed by this company's control room, they don't look at experience but bribe. I have proof they paid.

There is an individual named Malusi employed at this company who holds a managerial position. He engages in the ******ion of money from the staff. If employees do not comply with his demands for money, he retaliates by issuing warnings. This behavior is highly unprofessional, and I am uncertain whether the company’s owners are aware of the ******ion occurring within their organization. It is truly disheartening. During my tenure at the company, I refused to comply with his monetary demands, which subsequently led to the non-renewal of my contract.
