I am typing this email with great concern. I am an Assistant Educator at Kwanele Primary School and I commenced on 02 June 2025. During the June school holidays it came to my attention that my team members got paid their first stipend and I didn't receive anything. I submitted all required paper work and banking details accordingly. When the shool reopened I notified our admin that I haven't gotten paid and he started following up as he was also concerned. Unfortunately we were not receiving any positive feedback or progress in my case. The head of the school asked if we all got paid and we told her I haven't received it. It was a great shock to her because she wasn't notified but we notified her the same week the schools reopened on July. My team members even received second stipend while I haven't received anything. I followed up with my Admin and eCadre. They were all trying to assist but we were not getting any help. Even my Principal tried to assist as we tried calling Kwantu daily and the line was not going through. There was a development that I do not appear on Kwantu portal list. I tried to get hold of Kwantu and they say our Admin is the one who should put me on the school portal. He tried to do so but it kept on saying invalid ID. I asked Kwantu to assist with putting my information on the system, they can even varify with the school if they have to. It hurts me that I'm being taken pillar to post, back and forth messages without progress yet I was availing myself and showing up to work because I need this job. I have completed certificates and online workshops with Teachers Connect and Department Of Education. I am hopeless and helpless because the school is trying to help and they are also not winning. May I kindly receive my two outstanding stipends that are due. I see I won't be getting my job back but all I need is my stipends.
On the 11th of September 2024, I Mantoa Mamsika went to The Department Of Labour in Germiston to apply for my UIF as I was Occupied or hired by The Department Of Education as an Assistant Educator at a certain primary school in Katlehong. We queued and queued from 6am only to be attended around 12 mid day and the reason we got attended it's because there's a short colored lady who arrived, I think she's a Manager or something that's when the place started shaking up and queues started to move. The lady at reception named Nomsa or Sibongile,she has a Zulu name, asked me to go to Counter/Table 18 at Declaration Department to collect a D-Blank. However I did go and ask the gentleman because he was still busy he then asked the lady on counter 17 which was next to him to assist and she gladly did. When I went to the application side I noticed my D-Blank states that I worked from 01/09/23 - 31/12/23 which is incorrect. I went back to the gentleman and the lady which is table 17 and 18 to ask them to rectify the mistake and they said there's nothing they can do about it(In a disrespectful manner and tone)which I couldn't understand if they can't assist me then who should? I waited for the lady at table 12 and 13 to assist me they are also in the declaration department/section eventually they did, the lady at table 12 took my D-Blank and said apparently it was not supposed to be given to me. I asked why is the system not stating that I started working on 01/02/23 - 31/12/23 which is 9 months instead of 4 months that they indicated and which is incorrect. She said I must not worry, I mean how can I not worry because what is on the paper it's exactly what is on the system and it will definitely affect my payment. I went to the application side which is counter 08, the level of attitude I got from that gentleman(he sounded venda or Tsonga and I get still point him) is so hurtful and sad. I don't understand why unemployed people are being treated like we came to ask for a loan or it's their money that we applying for. That guy went to get my D-Blank as he says I was supposed to have it on me. I was surprised because the other lady said I wasn't supposed to have it at the first place, meaning there's no communication or they don't work the same way. I then asked the gentleman to fix my Deceleration, he said it's not his duty, the Declaration team was supposed to do that. I told him I've been there since in the morning while it was cold, queuing thinking I'd get assistance but all they do is to keep me running around like a headless chicken. I am worried and sad that that gentleman only took my U28 and ID from my documents, he didn't take salary schedule,he didn't ask for U19 which will correspond with my D-Blank. I am worried my UIF will only be a four months payment which will be unfair. There is no order in that building, all they are rushing for is assisting clients who bring something on the table. If you are broke like me you won't get the level of the service you need to receive as per Batho Pele Principle. Kindly assist with fixing my Deceleration to Nine months not Four months. A big thank you to the short colored lady which happens to be a Manager or Supervisor that arrived in the morning, addressed us and attended our grievances. She made the staff to attend the clients swiftly and called The Department Of Labour in Alberton to repremand them that they should assist anyone who walks in their labour and stop asking for proof of address. You know your job and you are good at it. We didn't get your name but thank you so much. That place needs more people like you. The Department Of Labour in Germiston needs to work on their service delivery. They treat clients badly,all they care about is bribery, you put something on the table then you speaking their language. I trust and hope I will be assisted. I need my D-Blank stating that I started work on 01/02/23 - 31/12/23. I will not let this rest until it gets sorted out.
Order number 201163287356: I made an order online yesterday as I am a biggest customer at Mr Price, you can check my history through my ID when I do laybyes and buy online. Yesterday I mistakenly selected a wrong address for delivery and that was after I confirmed my order. I quickly sent an email to the Durban Warehouse Department, went on Facebook inboxed my request to change the delivery address and also went to their "live chat" on the online app to ask for assistance and unfortunately there was no response. This morning again I sent emails that's when I got a response that they can't assist me with changing the address to be delivered at Motse Wa Lejana Shopping Center Mr Price. It pains me that East Rand Retail Park is far away from me as I would like it to be delivered closer to cut the costs as that it was the aim from the beginning. If that cannot be done, can they please refund me I will pre-order because this is unacceptable honestly. Please give me a feedback.
Thank you to The Captain and The entire crew of FA 325 that boarded yesterday at 14:35 from King Shaka International to Johannesburg for handling the weather situation at the best of their ability. The Captain couldn't land due to heavy storm so he had to fly back to KSI. Some passengers were not understanding because they had connecting flights. I appreciate how Bonolo and other crew members handled the situation. Big ups
My friend and I came with 4 children, we loved the experience. It was our first there, we wanted to go to Spur but my friend suggested Papachinnos Boksburg. Mandi the waiter we had he was passionate,calm and patient with us and the kids. We didn't know what to drink or eat but he helped with suggestions. The Manager and the team as a whole are hands on and friendly. We still feel like the tip we gave him is not enough he deserves more. Next time definitely we will remember you. The rides, entertainment area for kids are exciting and confusing as they were busy with scooters and all of that. I am not happy at all. What ****ed me off most is that no one is willing to do anything about it. I ordered a Bleach Acid Denim Jacket Size 5-6 on the 22nd of August and did another order this morning for more clothes. When I did follow up this morning as I saw my status for the demin was still "processing" I was then sent an email that my order was on hold. I send another email to check why it was on hold I was then told I was Out Of Stock. When I purchased that Jacket online on the 22nd of August it was available for me to order and allowed payment. It is not my fault that the product was out of stock, clearly someone did not do their job and that's not my fault. Now Owami Ngcobo sends me an email notifying me that my order was canceled and they will refund me. Who said I want a refund because I want my product that I ordered. When i check online even now the Denim Jacket Bleach Acid is still available. So what happens when another customer orders? This in unacceptable and as I said I don't want refund I want my product. Find out which shop still has it in Ekuhuleni or Johannesburg and deliver it to my address. I want that Denim Jacket. While you at it remove that Denim online because that's false advertising. I'm rating it 5 stars because I love the clothes and their style but my complaint as a regular customer is The Clothes with Coca Cola Logo No no no. That's not good, it's beautiful clothes, stylish yes but who would want to wear clothes written Cola Cola as if we work in ABI. There's a lot of clothes I wanted to purchase today but because of Coca Cola I didn't. Coca Cola soft drink is refreshing and nice but not to be written on our clothes.
I hope this will get straight to the people who work close with the president or the president himself. SA Youth Assistant Teaching Programme is full of corruption. When The President announced that it will benefit most of the youth, as we will give each other a chance to grab the opportunity. I have been applying for more than two years but nothing has come up, I'm sorrounded by more than 20 schools in Katlehong but no school called me for an interview. Instead you will finds same people at the same school and they will tell you that their contracts are always being renewed. This is not fair at all. It seems like it's benefiting people who are connected to those who are permanent at those schools. Even now contracts are being extended. Is there anything done in SA without corruption? Should we beg for jobs, then we are begging you, help us get jobs🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Kindly assist with this Assistant Teaching Programme as I don't understand how it operates. We have been promised as youth that we will all get a fair chance to the Programme but people's contracts are getting extended twice or three times a year while some of us are running up and down submitting paper work to apply but they know very well they won't employ us. This programme was suppose to Benefit most of the youth in SA not only specific people. This is sad as we depended on it. Please Mr Julius resolve this matter for us as SA Youth. Our Government is failing us as always🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I have been unemployed for closed to 3 years due to retrenchment. I have been applying for Teachers Assistant Programme ever since it was introduced. It was stated that people who already got the opportunity won't be partaking in the Programme to ensure equal chance for other unemployed youth. In some schools there's people who has been there for more than two years while some of us are unemployed. We always apply but no response. It is so sad that we are not considered but while this was suppose to benefit SA Youth. Can we also get a fair chance. This is not fair at all.
