Terrible experience with this institution, I am currently enrolled for 2025 and I have been going up and down with the finance department on the allocation of my fees amounting to R19600 as part time student, the student portal is showing R33000 as it is billing modules which I am not registered for, I have asked this to be corrected as it differs to the contract agreement they issued to me. My sponsor made a payment of R32600 which had to be allocated to two of us beneficiaries and they allocated all this amount to myself leaving the other beneficiary in arrears, I sent proof and how allocations should be prior to this but still hasn't been rectified to date, have been opening tickets left right and center in their website but not greater good coming out to have this resolved.
I wish to express my disappointment and frustration in this provider, on the 25th of April 2025 – R3458,24 was charged on my account 26 th May 2025 – R1926,08 was charged on my account 25 th June 2025 – R3658,72 was charged on my account I have logged called reporting this and went to the mtn store and I have been advised that it is out of data bundles, I wish to advise that I have not activated this on my account and it was by surprise to myself that my account could be loaded more than 3,5,8 times a day with auto renewal 500mb daily, I have been with MTN my life and on contract for 5 years but all of a sudden when I finish paying for one account, this is what suddenly happens, charged of +-R2500 on my account? This had put me in a very bad position financially and entirely putting my life on hold, cannot even make ends meet in these 3 months and because of bundles I do not make use of, , there is calls I receive on my number and sms with someone else’s name that they owe money on their account, On my App there is only R10 out of bundles set
I have had a very bad experience , I took my car in for service and they reported a possible oil leak, they advised I should drive for about 500km and bring it back in, when I did that, they confirmed there is most definitely an oil leak I must book it in , 12 of march 2025 I took the car in , there is no curtesy car , no car I could hire as my car would be in for two weeks, such a huge inconvenience!!! 26 march got a call to say the car was ready, picked it up and next day when I drove it, it made such a terrible sound as if there was a zinc I was dragging under the car!!
