If you want shoddy repairs, go to Island Panel Brackenfell. Or if you only want to get your car back after three repair attempts. Or if you want to be treated like trash (called too stupid to understand the manager). I made the mistake - please don't you.
I shopped today at the Checkers Hyper Brackenfell. Whilst waiting in the queue with other people to be allocated to a till, mice ran between our feet causing quite a stir. I approached the manager of the shop who nonchalantly only said he will inform Rentokil. No explanation from him. No apology from him. No attempt to find out more from me. Sjoe!
I went to Builders Warehouse Somerset West on Saturday the 5th of March 2022 to potentially buy a few items. I noticed that most of the items (10/15) that I was interested in did not have prices. I asked for the manager to find out why. I was directed to a person that informed me that their machine to print prices has been broken for more than a week. I pointed out that it is a requirement by law to have prices displayed. Hand written prices was not an option he said because it is not their 'standard'. We therefore said that they would rather break the law! He also refused to give me his name (found later out he is Graham Aploon). I later spoke to his manager, Mr. Stefan Louw who confirmed that they can't mark prices and that it is company policy to give their names to clients (also to wear a badge). Eventually I took 2 products that was priced on the shelves and guess what - I was overcharged at the till by 34.3% (R120) on an expensive hammer and 9 % on a hosepipe nozzle! Eventually a was refunded the difference. The short and the long: The majority of items are not priced and when I took 2 that was priced, both of them was overcharged by almost R150! Bad service!
I took my VW Polo for a service at NTT Volkswagen Stellenbosch on the 24th of February 2021 and was advised that the wiper blades need to be replaced (my vehicle had a motor plan). They didn't have the part and placed it on backorder. I enquired with them about every 2 months to find out if the wiper blades arrived (they didn't call me). Well, they still don't have the wiper blades by yesterday - after 10 months! This is totally unacceptable from VWSA. It simply means that they're compromising my safety, which they are telling us, is important to them. If VWSA can't deliver a safety critical component to the owners of their product, then I am afraid they don't care! Be wary of this situation when you're thinking of buying a VW car.

This is a warning to all potential buyers from this kennel. I booked a puppy and payed the deposit of R3000. Unfortunately the puppy died before I could take delivery of the puppy. It is now months of unsuccessfully struggling to get my deposit back. I have been given promises, but the payment never happens.
