I bought a R2000 Samsung phone and after a few months, I updated the phone and then the phone didn't work. I sent the phone in for repair on the 17th of Aug 2025 and after waiting almost a month, they told me that they are not going to repair the phone because it has a few scratches on the outside. Now I am still waiting for them to return the broken phone. I will not purchase from Takealot again and since they don't stick with their warranty, I urge people not to buy any electronics from them
Pathetic place, will never buy from them again, I purchased a bed on Sunday, and they said it would take 2-3 working days to deliver, I live 3min away from House and Home at Cape Gate and gave them my address, they delivered the bed at the wrong address and left it there. House and Home told me that it shows on their system the bed was dropped off and I should have it after I kept on telling them I don't have my bed and never received it. I'm still waiting for them to sort it out.
Not very helpful, staff is not very friendly, they don't keep with their prices, they don't know how to organize or keep track of orders and fittings. The manager is also hard to get in touch with, probably because she already knows how her business is operating
very poor customer service!!! They don't help at all they just keep on saying each time when I have a problem I should go into the bank, why do you have a customer service whatsapp chat if you can't help with anything and I always need to go back to the bank!?
Resolve issues with better and positive attitudes. Karen one of the operators answered the phone rudely and didn't even resolve the issue we have. We have been waiting 4 years to get documentation from CNI and they simply don't comply. Karen kept on telling us she can't send the paperwork because she is busy but funny thing is, that paperwork is part of her daily job so I don't quite understand why we can't get the paperwork that we requested. She doesn't respond to emails and even after we made contact with her requesting the documentation signed because it was sent blank the first time, she refused and said we should stop calling her? So now I'm not sure how to get the provident fund papers.
