Be careful of this person Mark Du Toit from DC Auto Electrical. I was looking for someone to fix my car, I thought it may be a loose bolt or something but it was the engine mountings. He came out, said it was that, and needed me to transfer money to buy the part. I did so and then stopped responding. He was supposed to buy the part on the Friday but allegedly Goldwagen didn’t have one, so we arranged for Sunday. Sunday he didn’t respond to WhatsApp, calls, FB messenger or SMS. I then commented under other posts I’d found that he’d ****med others out of money. When I did that he immediately responded he was at church (lol) despite the fact that we had a booked appointment. Since then it’s been the run around where I went to the police and the police lady called him and said she was coming to arrest him and he said he’d settle it. He then paid a portion and said he’d settle the rest with interest, which was weeks ago. He seems to take money from one job, not do it and spend the money, and then use the next job’s deposit to pay it back. He owes me just over 500 bucks, a stupid amount, but he’s taken in the thousands from others and done the same, so warning anyone else, he is not to be trusted.
On the 30th of September I called Netstar to test my tracker. The person was unable to find it but said he would run a continuous trace and call me Sat. Sat afternoon I called again as no one had called and the person again couldn't locate the vehicle and said they would call me on Sunday and never did. I complained on Twitter and then suddenly they called to say that my contract had expired and I should have got a new contract and replacement unit. The tracker probably hasn't worked for years and they are quite happily taking money from me for nothing. Since then I have been trying to get the month refunded as confirmation that it was cancelled as I am not going to use them again, and get no response to emails. I do NOT recommend getting involved in Netstar as their service is shocking
They take payment from customers and then dump on the pavement outside the dump sites because they were too cheap to pay the fee for Mooiplaats during the strike. Now that the municipal strike is over they’re still dumping on the street because the staff couldn’t be bothered. The issue has been raised with management and they respond arrogantly. There are numerous posts on FB showing them dumping yet they couldn’t care. I would suggest steering clear of this unethical company
My house was transferred into the new owners name at the end of January and from then I have been struggling to get my rates refund from NGL. Their shoddy service can clearly be seen in the lack of drive from staff and response when updates are requested: 04/04 I requested an update on the refund from Martha 05/04 Martha responded to say she had requested an update 16/04 I email again saying that I have still not got an update 16/04 Martha responds to say they are awaiting deeds office confirmation, it will be finalized at the end of April and she will keep me updated post 30/04 05/05 Martha advises that an account was opened in the purchasers name and the refund would be processed within a few days 30/05 I email Martha asking how far the refund is 03/06 Martha responds to say that she will follow up 18/06 Obviously by now I haven’t had any response which is their theme song, so I follow up with Martha and Judith 18/06 Martha responds to say they haven’t done the refund because they need additional documents (not really good transfer attorneys if they don’t know what documents to send from the beginning) 05/08 I email Martha and Judith asking why it’s 7 months later and I still haven’t been refunded - obviously no response 08/08 I email Judith to remind her that she committed to me that she would assist in getting this resolved - no response I would suggest avoiding these attorneys as they clearly can't be bothered once they have received payment
On the 1st of Nov I received an email from Martha requesting the authorisation to pay the final rates to COJ and I responded to say that the date of the account they had was for 18 Oct and they hadn't deducted any of my payments and she should please get another statement. On the 2nd of Nov I sent a follow up email and she responded to say that they had asked for an amended statement. On the 8th I emailed to advise that I had received a statement from COJ charging me for the second statement but I had still not received it from NGL Attorneys. I asked again that it be sent to me. I sent another email on the 15th asking when I would receive the statement so that I could make the payment. After no response I followed up with another email on the 20th stating that I have already asked a number of times and requesting that it be sent. I then emailed the estate agent and spoke to him, requesting that he get it sent to me. I have just sent another email with no response, and called Martha again an hour ago and still no statement. I would not recommend using this attorney for anything as their service is shocking once all the paperwork is signed and you're stuck with them.
Their accounts department billed me for an sms sent to me, reminding me to make payment TWO days after the payment was made. Due to their inability to keep their accounts up to date they have billed me R13 for an sms. I have sent proof of the payment showing the date payment was made and have yet to get a response. Pathetic "service" from a badly run company.
<p>IHFM took over managing the complex that I bought into. They have not had an AGM in more than two years (allegedly because they weren't provided all of the bank statements from the previous agent) however they cannot provide any recon for the time they have been managing the bank accounts either. I'm not sure if it is incompetence or due to unethical practices. I have even told them that they don't need to be audited figures, just provide a spreadsheet with money in and money out and they aren't able to do that.</p> <p> </p> <p>My last email went unanswered which makes me suspicious of the reasons they can't provide the financial information. </p>
<p>I found a package deal on their website and as it was a great deal I tried to pay for it. I then received an error message that it was no longer available. I emailed them to ask and was told that it had been discontinued but I could buy another package for the same price, with half the products. I told them that they need to honour what was advertised on their website and they have refused. I feel that this is dishonest marketing and I am reporting this matter to the Consumer Council as it is unethical business practice.</p>
<p>I requested a copy of the mortgage protection plan in the beginning of April. On the 22nd of April the bank finally sent me a copy of the contract which was only signed by me. As far as I am aware all legal documentation should be signed by all parties in the contract. I requested that a signed copy be sent to me on the same day, which has still not happened. In fact my email hasn't even been acknowledged. I have escalated on Twitter and that too gets ignored. I had the same issue when I took out the loan, struggling to get them to respond to requests for feedback and should have gone with another bank then.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am really happy with FNB banking division, which is why I took the bond with them, but the homeloands department's service is appauling and I wouldn't recommend them AT ALL.</p>
I received an invoice quoting 'basic electricity' so I replied asking what it was for. I received an email back from Marlise saying she no longer works there (which is strange because I replied to the initial email straight away). She said I should email Theresa, which I did. Theresa did not even bother to respond to the email, so I emailed the reception email address, which I sent my initial documentation to. She responded to say that I should email Louise which I did. I then received a notification that my email could not be delivered because the recipient's mailbox was full. I then forwarded this to the reception email again with no response. <br> <br> Is this a mickey mouse company? Their customer service is a joke, and I find it hard to believe that it is a business to be be taken seriously. Never before, in all my life, have I see such incompetence!
