I was charged 50% more by Rental.com than what I would’ve paid if I booked directly with SIXT Car Hire. NOT OK Rental.com and Booking.com
I am having the poorest of service from BMW Sandton. My vehicle has been in for repairs for two weeks and I am not getting feedback from them. First, the service consultant doesn’t bother communicating with me, then customer relations manager, Ayanda Sibeko is not in today and when I enquired who is doing her job today, I was told “nobody”. After insisting on getting someone to call me back I was told that the workshop manager is busy and that he’d call me back shortly. I called back two hours later and after waiting whilst the phone rang for two minutes, I got cut off. No call back.
The most tardy collection service at the Greenstone branch. Don’t make the mistake of collecting between 12 and 1pm. Staff go on lunch at the same time.
I app**** online for a passport renewal and a smart ID simultaneously on 16 April 2023. I received an sms on the same day acknowledging receipt of my applications. I received notification on Wednesday, 26 April 2023 that my passport is ready for collection. Two days later,28 April, I received another sms notifying me that my ID is ready for collection. Well done Home Affairs. I highly recommend the online application process.
Fresh produce not the quality I expect from Woolworths. I’ve returned pears for being bruised, bananas over ripen within a day, and I’ve just bought clementines which are rotten. Woolworths The Glen in first two occasions and Woolworths Bassonia on the last. Come on Woolies, are even YOUR quality standards dropping?
Poor quality product, atrocious customer service and dishonest dealings with their customers seems to be the hallmark of the Orthopedic Pillow and Mattress Company. The first issue we had was that the bed was delivered at 17:30 instead of the promised 09:00. The reason cited was “it was raining so we couldn’t deliver earlier”. Also, the bed was delivered without the promised ‘free’ pillows. Two weeks later, and we’re still waiting for delivery. Second, after one night on their ‘firm’ mattress both my wife and I woke with back pain . When we called to ask for the mattress to be replaced with a ‘medium’ firmness mattress we were told that it can only be replaced after two weeks! Really?! I must sleep on a mattress which is too firm and CAUSING me back pain for a further two weeks before they would consider changing it?! And this from a company selling mattresses with ‘Orthopedic benefits’?! Third, the base doesn’t have legs and sits flush with the floor lending itself to mop and broom contamination. Fourth, the controls have to be depressed with force which will likely result in premature failure. All of these matters were reported and their representative promised to send someone out to rectify all our complaints. Not a word from them for two weeks. Overall a poor quality product. Not worth R50K
On 21 June I wrote a review on the poor service offered by Defy Appliances. This, after battling to get their attention for a week, then waiting for two weeks after the collected my fridge for them to tell me that they don’t stick parts for an 8 year old fridge which cost 25K. They responded on HelloPeter saying that they noted my concern and that they will revert. It is two days short of a month and I STILL haven’t heard from them! Atrocious service!
Defy service is terrible! I struggled for a week to get a serviceman to come out to check my fridge. Defy’s subcontractor in Johannesburg has attracted a slew of negative reviews. Now, after having collected my fridge for workshop repair, I’m told that there are no parts for an eight year old fridge which cost R25K! Unacceptable Defy! DO NOT BUY DEFY!
I booked a home service call on Monday 30 May 2022 through the Defy Call Centre. A technician from Barnard’s Tv & Appliance Centre called me on Tuesday 31 May 2022 to arrange an appointment for Wednesday 1 June 2022. He doesn’t arrive, doesn’t call to apologise… The same person calls me on Wednesday to arrange an appointment today, 2 June. 2022, and again doesn’t arrive. I had to stay home to wait for the technician twice and they don’t have the consideration to call to apologise? I agree with other reviews; Nikita is rude.
They are professional and Megan is on point, pardon the pun…
