Someone hit my rear passenger door with their door. I was so heart broken. The guy from DC Dent came and fixed it. He is so friendly and absolutely great at his job. You can't even tell that there was a dent. I 100% recommend him.
We hired at a car from Europcar from the Cape Town International Airport. Upon return, the car was in good condition, no problems. They then contacted us saying the car was returned with a cracked windscreen even though it wasn't. Unfortunately because our things are processed through an agent, they claimed the money from the agent and our company had to pay the agent. We requested the return inspection form and lo and behold, there was no report of damage (as expected). We sent an email disputing the charge and requesting evidence of the crack, they never responded. The car had no damage. We also inspected it when we returned it. Anyway, the driver and front passenger would have seen a crack on the wind screen whilst the vehicle was being driven. Europcar is *****ed. I would not recommend you use them, especially if you're traveling for work.
Recently bought my first car here. They were very patient and friendly. The variant I wanted wasn't available (tried multiple dealerships but it seems that the model is scarce countrywide). They searched until they found what I wanted and in a very short time span. They made my experience as a first time buyer very pleasurable. I would 100% recommend them.
Two weeks ago someone looked at me and decided that they deserved to own my phone more than I did. Naturally, much to my displeasure, they stole it. Fortunately, I had insured my phone with Granadilla. Replacing my phone was such an easy experience. I went online and found out which documentation I needed to upload. The communication was quick. Even the few times I had to call them, I did not struggle to get ahold of a consultant. What I found even more impressive is how they handled my device replacement. I alerted them that I no longer wanted a Huawei p40 lite because of the struggles I experienced with the lack of Google services. This did not delay the claim process at all. Minor delays that occurred were on my side only. I received a new device in less than two weeks. I 10/10 recommend Granadilla insurance.
Many years ago I saw a rug that captured my heart. I found it this year on Bali Trading and unfortunately when I wanted to buy it, it was sold out. I contacted them to ask if by any chance it'd come back on sale. A lady named Jeanine assisted me. Unfortunately it seemed they were out of stock and that was it, however she hunted it down until she found the last one. She kept me informed the whole time and as soon as she found the last one she let me know. She was amazing through the whole process. Sometimes online shopping can be so frustrating but this experience was nothing short of amazing. The rug is even more beautiful in "person". So happy with my experience. I recommend shopping here.
I bought their undated daily planner and to say I'm impressed is an understatement. Firstly the size is practical. Smaller than A4 but big enough to get job done. It has journaling space, pictures to colour in, affirmations and quotes, space for monthly reflection. I'm so happy I bought it. I'm definitely getting myself another one next year.
I saw a bed online which was labeled as fast shipping, meaning it'd arrive in 1-3 business days according to their site. This did not happen! The first customer care people I spoke to had very dismissive tones. The next person I spoke to laughed at me and asked why I would buy a bed online if it was urgent. So they false advertise and somehow it's the customer's fault for believing their lies? I dunno how many people I called and how many empty promises I was given but buying on their online platform was not a good experience. They need to go back to the drawing board when it comes to their online service. The bed is great quality and super comfortable but their online service needs an upgrade.
RATHER BUY ON TAKEALOT! I made the terrible mistake of buying from Makro online. I regret it with every Fibre of my being! They do not give you details about the status of your order so you do not have a single idea when your goods will arrive. Good luck getting in touch with anyone who knows anything. Their customer care agents have no idea about how anything works and all they do is transfer you around. I asked a simple question and none of them could answer me. My order is very late and I am so frustrated. I should have just bought on takealot. The things I ordered on takealot arrived last week already. Save yourself the headache and just buy somewhere else if you were planning on using their online services.
