I placed and order last week and I was told that my package would arrive on the 16th. And then I received one item amongst all the items that I have ordered.
I received a payment from Meta on the 22nd of June 2025. And I approved the payment on WhatsApp and I was told that it would reflect in my account in the next 24 hours. And then a few days after waiting, I contacted Capitec and they told me that they returned the money back to Meta because the recipient is “LA Pozes Carter”, which is my social media profile name. And then they suggested that I contact Meta, to rectify the name and use my birth name instead. And I did exactly that but Meta doesn’t have an email address or landline where I can get a hold of them and I can’t even make these changes on the app (Facebook) I then went back to Capitec and tried to explain my situation and still wouldn’t help me. And told me that there is nothing they can do. And now I’m expecting another payment…which will obviously also fail. So what do I now? This is very frustrating. I’ve never come across such a useless bank! I regret ever opening my account!
They debited my account twice for a transaction that I did not make. And then they charged me interest on a payment that was not even late and for an order that I never even received instead of giving me a refund.
I had Telkom call and offer me a phone on contract. And I went through with the application and they decided, which was declined. And instead of having them cancel the entire order. They decided to send me a sim card which I have no desire to use and I asked them to come take it back and reverse whatever the debit order we'd initially agreed upon and they assured me that it's inactive and that they won't deduct anything And now...4 months later, I still have them debiting my account without my permission and at this point. I'm just really concerned about my credit record. So please just make sure that you terminate your stupid contract, because I obviously did not get the phone you'd offered.
These people are nothing but *****sters. I app**** for a phone contract and I had a consultant call me and assured that my application was indeed successful. And then he asked me not to hang up until I've spoken to the confirmation team, who were initially supposed to just verify whatever I'd told the first consultant and I did exactly that. Fast forward, my call was transferred to yet another consultant who almost ******* me into signing up with Napkin, all because they **** and said it was part of the cellphone package and then a few seconds later, I had a debi check mandate pop up on my screen. Which I declined coz it was never part of the agreement. And then I had another consultant call me, Ntokozo from Clientele. She claimed that I could only have the phone on condition that I take up a policy with them as it mandatory and I declined the debi check mandate, from them yet my bank says there's absolutely nothing they can do about it. Napkin and Clientele are going to debit my account anyway. So I'm pleading with you to put a stop to all of this nonsense now. Or I'll have no other choice but to report you to Ombudsman, should you decide to debit my account.
This is the worst courier service ever. Please kindly stay away from this company...they don't deliver people's packages and they don't even bother to pick up their phone.
You and Takealot are the best online store ever. The packages are exactly as shown on pictures and they always arrive early... You guys always prioritize your clients, and if I could...I'd most certainly give you 10 stars. Thank you so much for the outstanding service, do keep it up.
I ordered 3 boxes of The House of BNG, they took forever to have them delivered. And they delivered just 1 box, instead of 3. Their customer service is possibly the worst, now I just want my money back. I don't see myself buying from them ever again.
