I installed Cartrack due to the large number of positive reviews. My experience has not been positive. All dealings with Cartrack are via the phone, you do not receive a copy of the contract via email. When I entered into the contract on the phone, I was told that the Cartrack options were on their website: Quick, Quick Silver and Quick Gold. I requested the Quick Silver option which included Carwatch for R149 pm. Some weeks later the Cartrack App indicated that Carwatch was no longer available to me and that I had to contact Cartrack to activate. When I contacted Cartrack, I was told that the options listed on the website were out of date and that the option I had did not include Carwatch and that I would need to pay extra for this. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the misleading information on the website and reluctantly agreed to pay the extra amount for Carwatch. At the same time, I requested a copy of my contract with Cartrack via email on 9th Oct. 11 Oct Carwatch rep**** and said they would request a copy of the contract. Today 16 Oct I received this response from Cartrack: I do see that you have added car watch on your monthly subscription, please be advised that you need to be using the updated Car Track app to be able to use the Car Watch, if not please do Re-install the app should this matter persist please contact us on 011 250 3000. Please log a new ticket, for further queries. I am still waiting for an email copy of my contract with Carwatch. I also want a copy of the recording of the first time I took out the contract where I was to purchase the tracking device. I was forced to change to the 36-month contract option when no progress was made with invoicing me for the tracking device and I was unable to take delivery of my vehicle.
Excellent service by Jessie. Jessie arrived at the scheduled time and made a very good offer on the vehicle. I needed to use the vehicle for a few days. Jessie met me when I was ready and the deal was concluded. Money in my bank account there and then. A few days later received a message confirming that the Webuycars was the registered title holder to the vehicle . All in all, Jessie and the Webuycars experience was excellent!
I made a purchase at a vendor using an iKhokha machine. The first transaction was declined (general system error), I then performed another transaction which was successful. The day afterwards I noted that there were 2 transactions from the merchant pending on my bank account. I immediately emailed the vendor who contacted iKhokha who indicated that only one transaction would go through. Nevertheless both transactions went through. I again contacted the vendor. All of these attempts to get the declined transaction reversed failed and I had to log a dispute with my bank. A total waste of my time. Be very careful of iKhokha transactions!
