Not user friendly packaging, Very hard to almost impossible to open a bottle. The bottle caps are so tightly sealed, no matter how hard we try , we can't open it.. Your hands are literally bruised with all the Unsuccessful attempts to open it.
I recently ordered the steak and avo quesadilla gluten- free wrap from Kauai @ King Shaka International Airport and it was absolutely delicious !!!! Will definitely be ordering this again.
A follow up on my previous review of PnP Hyper by the Sea Durban North : Marlene called me on Wednesday 20/09/23 to make arrangements to pick up the faulty Defy fridge. (Defy and PnP Hyper by the Sea Durban North decided that they will refund me the monies I paid for the fridge and I can choose another fridge.) By Thursday 21/09/23 the delivery guys Emmanuel and colleague arrives to pick up the fridge. No checking , no paperwork , it was just a pick up and off they go. Fortunately I took pics of the fridge that they collected, their truck and number plate etc since I was a bit concerned there was no signing of handover of fridge. By the 24/09/23 I go in to Pick n Pay Hyper by the Sea Durban to meet up with Marlene to process my refund. She asked us to wait at the Returns counter while she go and speak to Wendy (the Appliance department Manager). We waited a bit and after a while Marlene comes back to inform me that one shelf is missing from the fridge their delivery guys picked up. Keep in mind the PnP Hyper by the Sea delivery guys assigned to pick up the fridge did not check anything on pick up , no paperwork etc. Also remember this fridge is by their store since the 21/09/23, anyone could have taken the so called missing shelf. I asked Marlene to please show me the fridge. Marlene takes us through to the area where the fridge was kept , accessible by many other staff as well. Anyways Marlene finds the missing shelf in the fridge. We then moved on to the returns counter. The reception overall was 'cold' and sulky . Wendy the Appliance department manager did not even greet or acknowledge our presence. None of the PnP staff ( Marlene or Wendy on 24/09/23) apologised for any inconvenience caused etc . Customer care service totally lacking and very poor all round. It was all stiff and cold body language from them and I felt it was just to get me out of the store. I am very grateful though that they gave me a refund. Thank you and well done for that.
Yesterday 24 / 09/23 we visited Hirsch Springfield Park Durban and we are so pleased by the service received from all staff members! Well done to all ! Good job Theo, Cameron, the young gentleman at the AEG department, the cashier, the Security and the Delivery guys Naren and team.
Bought my AEG fridge yesterday 24/09/23 from Hirsch Springfield Park Durban and I am loving it ! Best buy ever !!!!
Pick n Pay Hyper Durban North: The manager (Wendy) of the Appliance department and the Defy sales person (Rivek) at Pick n Pay Hyper by the Sea Durban need some urgent customer care training. On Friday 15/9/23 , I phoned several times to connect with someone in the appliance department regarding the Defy fridge I purchased from them. First call , the person is busy with delivery. Second call the person is still not back. Third call , the person is busy with stock take. By this time I demanded to speak to someone regarding my Defy fridge that I bought from PnP Hyper by the Sea Durban in November 2022 and within less than a year have to call out Defy service agent once again. The Defy fridge was tripping my electric mains. Wendy, the appliance department manager , was not a very pleasant person to deal with and had some attitude. Rivek of Defy eventually phoned me to take my details to log a service. He assured me he will call me back to give me an update if the Defy service agent will come out on the same day or not . After several hours I called back requesting to speak Rivek the Defy sales agent at PnP and guess what? He refused to take my call. He told the receptionist he doesn't deal with customer complaints and he only does sales. I have never experienced such pathetic service from Pick n Pay Hyper Sea Durban Appliance department in all the years that I have shopped there. Charmaine the receptionist who took the call was very helpful , friendly and patient. Also Marlene from the Appliance department who was trying to make up for the poor service I received, made several follow up calls to keep me updated. I am very disappointed in Wendy the Appliance department manager and Rivek the Defy sales agent at Pick n Pay hyper by the Sea , Durban.
Blinds decor and Shutters Gateway: I am super impressed with their customer care service and quality of work rendered. They dealt with my query so positively and constructively. Well done to all !!! I highly recommend them.
Last November 2022, I bought an upright defy fridge from PnP Hyper by the Sea Durban. By November/ December 2022 I had to call out the Defy service agent. Water all over the floor everyday. The defy service agent came out and said the plastic drip tray is the issue, it's a flaw in the design, so the water overflows all the time. The defy service agent said he will put in a stainless steel drip tray with an element. Months later , now my electric mains are tripping , 2 to 3 times a day. We isolated and discovered it is the defy fridge causing the electric mains to trip. I phoned PnP Hyper by the Sea Durban , which is a separate issue to review, to log a defy service call out. The defy service agent comes out and says to me look what the previous defy service agent done , they put the element in the tray !!!! This is the reason why my electric mains are tripping so often. I wrote a report on their job card requesting that Defy replace me with a new fridge, different model where I won't have this issue. Today (19/9/23) Keshnie of Defy Service department , Springfield Park Durban, phoned to say they can come in tomorrow to fit back the plastic tray!!!! Am I missing something here? Who goes back to the initial problem they experienced? I asked Keshnie would she do it if it was her fridge? The Defy upright Fridge is faulty and still within its warranty period. It is not even 1 year old and I have had this many issues and frustrations with it. I await to here from Defy headquarters and demand a different and new Fridge that won't give me this many issues.
Made an appointment weeks in advance with VHI Skin & Spa Overport. Booking was accepted and confirmed by Vhi. On the last minute they cancel the appointment saying the the****** don't work on that day and they are not sure who took the booking and why they took it. Unprofessional and disappointing service!
