Banking app offline all morning 31 March 2025. Cannot transact at all. Ridiculous
I have set up my schedules to record The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills series 13. Well the recording stopped at episode 14. You stopped the series at 14 yet it has 17 episodes and a 2 part reunion. I pay close to R1000 a month and wasted my time watching 14 episodes because DSTV decide not to publish the rest. Kindly advise when and where I can conclude watching the full series.
Ref No: 64582382/FRAUD Just a warning to other Nedbank users, my 80 year old mother had her account cleared out by scamsters yesterday. And it was definitely an inside job. She noticed a R500 debit order pending on her account yesterday and phoned the bank and reported it. Not even an hour later the scamsters contacted her and said they were from the Fraud department and that many transactions had gone off her account. They had all of her details and she never shared her pin, username or password, yet they gained access to her account and stole R50 000. They had stopped all notifications and added new beneficiaries without an approval. And then had the audacity to take funds off her access bond. How is it possible that she phones the bank and a little while later she gets this call. Nedbank's official mail address is invalid and kicks back every time i try and lodge a written complaint. We have call records etc. however we haven't heard from the bank again, so they are clearly not worried about fraud being perpetrated.
I cancelled my subscription via mail on 14/10/21. Reference Number 09752246. You responded on 3/11/2021 but never cancelled the debit order to date. You have now handed me over to MDB attorneys for non-payment despite cancelling. Ive tried calling all of your numbers yet no response. Customer Care cannot assist. How do i get a response from this CHEAP incompetent company
I have been dealing with Lyle Julien who was supposed to provide a guarantee for my bond. I went to see him on a Saturday morning explaining the urgency. He promised to make an appointment to see him on Tuesday. The day came and went and I then had to actually go back to the bank to make contact with him because the branch numbers were not working. I spoke with both him and the Branch Manager and all sorts of promises were made. He then said he would deal directly with the attorneys. (This was on the 20th April) To this very minute, nothing has been done. I've sent emails to the complaints departments, I've spoken with a very nice lady by the name of Sthandiwe who also couldn't contact him. This is shocking service and I really recommend that serious action gets taken against Lyle and his manager for incompetence and failure to deliver on promises.
Requested proof of deposit paid by purchaser, however was told I need to take their word for it, they cant provide any proof. Apparently nobody has ever asked for proof that purchaser has paid? I find this response very dodgy and I'm doubtful that I would want to proceed a business relationship with this firm.
Weylandts are a business that consistently advertise sales. However, these sales never materialize, whether its online or at the factory. After queuing for hours, the minute you walk in, all items already have sold stickers on them, yet you've been at the front of the queue. They advertised an online sale starting at midnight on 25th September and to this minute, almost 10.5 hours later, the site is experiencing busy traffic when in actual fact , nobody has even managed to reach the site. For a company this size, its unacceptable. Its basically false advertising
I engaged with Madagra Landscaping specifically with Sascha Vogler in February 2019 to have a garden installed in my new house which was still under construction. The aim was to have the installation done once some of the work was done. So in other words I contracted his services way in advance. He came to quote twice thereafter I paid him R1000 for a handrawn sketch of my new gardens. Should have been a warning, however i proceeded to pay a R56000 deposit with the understanding that he needed to buy the materials the following day which was a Saturday. I received notifications at midnight and at 7 am reminding me that he wouldn't get the specials if I didn't pay immediately. This made me suspicious so my partner contacted him to make sure he would stick to his promise to which he replied that he markets the co on Facebook and all his leads come from there. Thus based on this and his quote which indicated that he was a member of SALI we understood that we were covered and proceeded to pay the deposit . When the work had to start there was one excuse after the next. He indicated he bought the material and would start the following week. None of this happened so we too contacted the supplier who informed us that no material had been ordered in months. We also contacted SALI and they informed us that Madagra resigned as members in 2015. Eventually after many many complaints they offered to rather refund us. After 2 months of promises I posted my complaint on Facebook only to receive a letter from a lawyer challenging me with the high court. I was also sent sarcastic whatsapps questioning my integrity. So Madagra have money to consult lawyers but not to refund one's deposit. To date nothing has been honoured. Very disappointing

You consistently use incorrect mobile numbers. Get your information correct because I'm sick and tired of your flipping databases randomly accusing people. My rating for you is actually a MINUS ZERO. Your apps and all that rubbish are great but without great customer service you are nothing but the very worst bank i have ever experienced in my life. I opened a money Maximizer account and transferred funds to FNB from my Nedbank Account. Everything was so smooth and now i see why. You're quick to take deposits but when i need access to my funds, you have no solution. I could not transact on Friday evening so i went to Tablebay Mall on Saturday morning, only to find absolutely nobody directing anyone in the branch, with about 30 customers sitting around and 10 customers at the ATM. There was 1 service consultant trying to verify bank statements, assist at ATM's , direct people and deal with queries. I explained my issue and was directed a call centre that i needed to contact. They verified my finger prints and all other details assuring me that my account was unblocked. As i was driving along i tried to do a transfer and access was denied. I called the callcentre again and went through 3 or 4 people and was told my account was inactive and nobody could assist so I raced to Canal Walk branch at Century City. Great welcoming etc. Went through the verification AGAIN. Told all was well and tried to transact on the computer in the branch. Still not working. Then i was told that i cannot transact on the Money Maximizer and was made to open a savings account. Then when i insisted i needed R55000 to make a payment, the suggested to draw out R25000 at a time. How absurd???? Then again tried to transact in the branch and both computers gave errors but was assured that it would work on my laptop at home. Raced home and found it was still not working. Phoned Call Centre and told it was an account issue but sorry accounts close at 2pm, bearing in mind I'd been at a branch since 11am. Now all i want is MY MONEY- ALL OF IT. I dont want an account with you, i never want another thing to do with you. I WANT EVERY CENT TRANSFERRED BACK TO MY NEDBANK ACCOUNT TODAY. Please don't bother me ever again after you have refunded my money. YOUR SERVICE IS SHOCKING. I trust you understand what i want and i want it today.
