I ordered R6k worth of groceries at about 9am yesterday morning and selected the delivery slot to be between 11 and 1 today. I received a message at 12:28 saying that they're on their way. I've literally (14:34) gotten off the phone with the call center (after an hour of call) and I'm still without groceries. I had things I had to do today, but the first three calls were not answered, just hung up on, the Whatsapp line is beyond useless, and during the next calls I had to hear how the call center (and even the store) does not have access to contact the driver, and the best they could do was watch where he was on a map. We watched as he drove straight past my area, to Tygervalley, then Parow, then Ravensmead, then Epping. I will never, ever again use Pick n Pay for anything again. I don't even want to imagine what my frozen goods look like in this heat. The call center told me that they will contact me again to re-deliver my groceries, and if there were any problems, i.e. with the frozen stuff, I could return them via the driver. As if I don't have enough problems. I want my order cancelled and my money refunded ASAP, and the very least you could do is some kind of recompense for the time and money I lost out on while waiting for your pathetic "service". Oh, and let's not forget one last disturbing fact... the Pick n Pay website said my order was delivered. Way to skew the facts and lie to make yourselves look better.
We attended the Joe Barber show on Wednesday, and it was horrific. While the staff were all pleasant and professional, the seating was absolutely terrible. The chairs are so old, flat and uncomfortable, and on top of that, tiny. They're linked together so you have absolutely no room to move, and are much smaller than the average person. The person next to my husband was well overweight, and took up half of his chair as well, and there was nowhere for him to go. We left early because we were all so uncomfortable and in pain. You'd think that with the money they charge for each ticket, they could replace the seating once in a while, but I'd put money on the fact that those seats are the same ones that the event opened originally with.
The mobile app refuses to load if I don't enable notifications. If I do enable notifications, I get spammed with nonsense at all hours of the day and night, disturbing my sleep. The mobile app notifications seem to be entirely unrelated to my communication preferences, which specifically say that I don't want any marketing communications.
Useless. I was partner in a business which I have subsequently left. Yoco are unable to remove me from this profile and I'm getting spammed with "Instant Payout" emails every single day. Then I was told by an agent that he could deactivate my account and I would be able to open a new one in her name. Suddenly they can't verify her ID and documents. He claims he said SHE must open a new profile. I'm so sick and tired of this. I didn't want to mess my ex-partner up, but after speaking to SIX DIFFERENT AGENTS I don't even care any more. I just want the spam to stop.
What a bunch of *******. I signed up for the once-off streaming of the Rugby World Cup, and now see that there is R99 owed on my "account". I tried to contact support, and he could not even cancel anything. I will not be paying DSTV a cent further. His service was appalling - I dealt with somebody called Thato Maja, who clearly did not want to be working today. I have screenshots of the conversation
I bought three jerseys online for my husband. They arrived, and are TINY. I ordered a Large men's size, and they don't even fit me. My husband has driven to three different Truworths to exchange them, and only the third had stock of only ONE of the jerseys. He was unable to exhange them OR return them, due to their stupid policy of demanding the credit card that I ordered with. It is a ridiculous, stupid policy, and I will never again order from Truworths because of it. You are unable to buy anything for anybody as a gift, because of this. Obviously my husband does not have MY credit card, and I'm quite sure I'm not the only person to not want to give my credit card to somebody else. Also, the attitudes of the staff was pathetic. You've lost two customers because of this nonsense.
If I could give a 0 or a - star I would. Beyond pathetic. I am getting phone calls every single day, SEVEN MONTHS AFTER MY FATHER PASSED AWAY, for his arrears credit card. Which only went into arrears after his death, and after they have been notified by Sanlam Trusts that he has passed away and that they are the executors. The people they have on their call centers clearly don't have two brain cells to rub together, and forget about trying to get through to anybody who can string a sentence together. I don't know what they expect - maybe tomorrow when they call, he will be available to take the call.
Before I ordered from this site, I double-checked that it was a South African site, with a Johannesburg addres, and a .co.za domain name. I ordered a tool that costed R1,700 (VERY expensive), but I thought I'd support a small business. What they didn't tell me anywhere on their website, or even when I ordered, was that they were going to order the item from overseas, and that I would be required to pay almost R500 in import duties! I am never paying this, and they'd better refund my money. This entire site is a scam. Be careful.
