I bought the beds as it was hyped as the best new invention . It was not cheap either. What a letdown. It started sagging a few months later. As we speak, it has a big "hole" on the one side. Turning it over doesn't help. I am considering buying an old-fashioned spring mattress....it never did anything to me; I thought I was getting an "upgrade". The most expensive mistake ever! DON'T BUY IT.
My daughter wanted to take me out somewhere in a country setting and, I googled and found The Fat Olive. I was so looking forward to a nice fresh environment and good food. We were met by very pleasant staff, especially the young man with dreadlocks (forget his name). He apologized for everything that went wrong. The outside seating was exactly what the doctor ordered. That was the end of the good experience From then things went south. For starters we ordered Italian Meat ***** and Chicken Livers. I have never tasted anything worse. The meat***** were dry, bland and burnt. The sauce looked and tasted like pureed tinned tomatoes, nothing more or less. The first time the meat***** met the gravy was in the bowl. My daughter also complained that the Chicken Livers were undercooked...this after we waited 45 minutes for the order. Needless to say, we only had water and left, never to return or recommend this place to anyone. As a bonus, I woke up with cramps and a runny tummy and I know exactly where that comes from. I pray my daughter doesn't get salmonella from the half cooked chicken Livers.
Well, I don't know this is going to work, because they don't care about their reputation, because they are not a business. Anyway, here's my story, in short; I got my water cut because I had an "*******" connection. On further enquiry, it turns out it was because of my outstanding rates. I was without water for three months and, on reconnection, they installed a new meter but then I couldn't buy water as their system couldn't accept the meter number. I'm not getting any help and, in a few days, I will be without water again I'm a 66 year old pensioner who receives a SASSA grant and this is the treatment I get from a government I paid taxes to all my working life. The JOHANNESBURG MUNICIPALITY DOES'NT CARE.
I've been of this established from Nov on a 1 year contract and have been paying R360pm. Today my d/o came through and it was R375. I went to the gym to enquire and was told by the receptionist that I need to fill in a "ticket" on the website. My ticket is being rejected for some reason. I tried to send an email directly to the info. email address and I got a notification that my email has been "blocked" I called a number i saw on the website, assuming it was a call centre or head office number and I got through Sunninghill reception. Bottom line; if a company does not have a head office contact number, there's a lot they are hiding. By the way, I was told that the increase is a "generator levy". This is breach of contract because i never agreed to pay for their running costs.
After I had booked and paid for a ticket from Johannesburg to Cofimvaba online, for 29/04/2022, for which i paid R567, I received an sms from them informing me that the bus doesn't go to Cofimvaba. If I had bought a ticket to Queenstown, I would have paid R500. Any efforts to get my R67 rand back haven't yielded any results. I've called, sms'd and emailed but gotten no joy from them. One might think it's only R67; it is my R67. It's not even about the money but the principle of the thing. It is fraudulent for them to make you pay for a trip you are not gonna take. They have known that their busses don't go to certain areas but, they have been taking people's money without any remorse. Somebody has to stop them. They can't go on with impunity, and they bombard us with Christian music in their busses and yet they are a fraud.
