Very poor service experienced from Scorpion Legal Protection. I would strongly caution others before joining, as they are quick to deduct monthly fees, yet fail to provide assistance when a claim is lodged. In our experience, joining them has been a regrettable decision. There is a consistent lack of communication and feedback. When assistance is required, responses are delayed or non-existent. We are frequently told that the person handling our case is unavailable and that a message will be passed on for a callback. However, days and even weeks pass without any response. On several occasions, calls are transferred, but we are left waiting indefinitely while listening to hold music, with no resolution. Our case was initially logged in September 2025. We were assisted by Zizipho Vapi, but from September 2025 to January 2026, no meaningful progress was made despite our continuous follow-ups via calls and emails. We were later informed that she was on leave, and the case was handed over to Bathini Mbekelwa. Bathini requested additional documentation from us and with the understanding that the matter would thereafter proceed to court. But after submitting all the requested documents, communication once again ceased. Repeated attempts to contact her yielded the same response that she was busy and would return our call which never happened. As of 17 March 2026, our case remains unresolved. We attempted to escalate the matter to Ms Naido, who had previously offered assistance, only to be informed that she is no longer part of the relevant department and could not assist us. We were then assigned yet another representative, making it the third person to handle our case, further delaying progress. Due to the ongoing lack of service, communication, and accountability, we have decided to escalate this matter and report Scorpion Legal Protection on HelloPeter.
My complain is that the car Kia Soul they gave me at the dealership called Integra Motors that is in Roodepoort, the day I saw the car, it was well and everything in it was working well, but a week after I decided to buy the car, I noticed few things are not working on the car. The dealership checked the car and nicely they apologized as they can see that the car is not okay. I thank God that they saw it before I can even drive the car myself out of their dealership gates because if I drove it first I believe it was going to be a big issue or I was going to be told that I damaged the car They nicely told me that they are aware of the problems on the car, because it was Friday late and they are knocking off, I should bring the car back the following week to fix it, then I requested that at least they should give me a temporary car that I can use for going to work while they fix it till my car is completely fixed, then they said no problem, they will check for me another car that I can use as a temporary car The following week on Wednesday I went back to their office, then I was told that they will send someone to fix the car at my place where I stay or near by workshop to where I stay, but until now it never happened. Is now almost a month and all the times when I call or send them messages they keep on promising me that they will sort it out but that never happened I asked them to give me another car or cancel the contract and give me back my money which was R20 000. 00 that I paid them as a deposit for Kia Soul car of R90 000.00 but instead they keep on saying they are organising someone to fix the car I trusted them but I'm now not interested anymore because I can see that they are ****s, they rather give me back my money so that I can look for a car somewhere else because they even failed to give me another car because their car was faulty before I could even start driving it
I was having a problem where by I sent money into debt account by mistake and my bank was unable to reverse the money, I tried to call and sent emails to Debtcare but there was no response, then I finally managed to get hold of a lady by a name of Candice Heinze after I struggle for days, she was helpful and friendly and she helped me to get my money back Thanks a lot 🙂
I've sent emails and WhatsApp or messages to Debtcare to inform them that my capitec bank made a payment of R13 000.00 into Debtcare account by mistake as a debit order, but I've never receive any response or feedback from Debtcare concerning my refund I sent them prove of payment using my capitec bank account statement and nicely ask them to return my money back via emails and WhatsApp but I never hear from Debtcare or get a single reply from Debtcare concerning my issue of refund I called their office yesterday 27th March 2023 as well and all I was told is that they will check my emails and work on it but till now I never hear from Debtcare to show that they are doing something about refunding my money back I found this unprofessional from a big company like Debtcare to be like this as they want people to trust them with their money
At least you got sorted. On the 25th April 2022, my money was deducted twice from my Capitec bank account by Debtcare. I went to the bank and they said that they cannot be able to reverse it because it's a debit order which I don't know what happened to have debit order that was created without my acknowledge. I only know one debit for the same company that was done 2020 I think. Now recently from nowhere it deducted twice on the 25th April and the third one it was showing that it will be deducting on the 28th April when they checking for me on their bank system. meaning it was going to deduct three times a month for the same company by the name of Debtcare. Then I was advised to call debtcare to refund me. Calling Debtcare and I was told to send my bank statement as a proof that money was deducted from my account. After sending my documents, I was told by a lady called Tania Mac Donald that she has requested the money to be refunded to my account. On the 28th April I call again to do a follow up and I was told that Tania was busy but they will tell her to call me, but I never received any call from her Tuesday on the 3rd of May I called and they said she's busy I should send and email to *********** then she will reply to me but I never received anything. The following day I called I was told by the I for desk that they can see that the matter is noted on their system for the money to be refunded and I should call again tomorrow. Today when I called, I was by the desk inform that Tania she's on tea time but they will tell her to call me but ti never received anything from them Is now more than a week waiting for my money to be refunded but till now nothing happened. I now failed to pay some of my bills and buying food in the house, and one of the major issues is that I was given until the 5th to pay off for my car as it was been taken by loaner, I tried to speak with them and they allowed to give me until 5th of May to pay up, still no money came into my account and this means I lost my car because of liars like debt care who failed to pay back my money for over a week now. I'm now loosing some of the things that I could have saved with the money that is been taken from my account as my monthly budget. I can't believe that I really lost my car just like that because of this debtcare, I really hate them because I told them as soon as they deduct money from my account that I need that money urgently because I need to pay for my car and other bills, but from 25th April till today which is 6th of May they could not return my money

I pawn my generator for R2000 at Brits cash crusaders last month July, I lost my contract page that they gave me, I went to them on the 11th August to check the expiry date in order to extend the days, but one of the guy who help me said it is still well covered then I said I'll come weekend witch it is today 15th August, only to find my generator on sale. When I ask, they told me that is been on sale for three days now, then I ask them to speak to the manager because the guy who helped me confirmed that he checked the expiry date for me but he made a mistake of not printing a copy for me. but I was surprised that the manager told them that he can't speak to me after they made me to wait for him 45min,when he comes back from where he was, he went straight inside the shop and again after few minutes they told me that he's eating and he can't talk, all that I should do is to buy it from them and when I ask them how, they ask double amount to R 6999.95 and told me that the date expired on Wednesday so is not their problem. When I ask for the manager, the manager never come to speak to me, so that I can explain to him that the guy who attended me in the shop on Tuesday didn't have a problem when I said I'm coming weekend to extend the days because it is still valid.
<p><span style="color: #555555; background-color: #ffffff;">As a service provider for europassistance our agreement was that invoices will be paid within 30 day after submitted them on their ICE system. Now invoices have been submitted from 2014 till today nothing is happening. I tried to email them and they don't reply, it shows that they don't want help me at all. On their ICE system some of invoices were cancelled after several complains I made to them. When I try to hear from them why they cancelled some of my invoices they don't reply me at all and when trying to call they will play music tone forever without taking my call.</span></p>
<p>We worked but still no payments after submitted invoices on their ICE system. The invoices were submitted 2014, til today no payment. When I phone them they tell me that the invoices are Approved for Batching, they should first be extracted first then they can pay. I was suppressed cause they said all submitted invoices will be paid within 30days, but that never happened. Still there are extracted invoices that are extracted for moths now but stil not paid. Till today I'm still waiting for the 2014 invoices to be paid </p>
