It is with genuine pleasure that I return once again to the Garden Court Marine Parade in Durban for business. Over the past 2 years I have travelled across several countries, including England, Ireland, and Romania, with plans to visit Germany and Scotland soon. While international travel offers remarkable experiences, there is always a part of one’s heart that longs for the fami**** sense of comfort that only home can provide. Finding that same feeling while travelling within South Africa is rare — yet Garden Court Marine Parade on the Durban beachfront consistently offers me exactly that. From the moment I arrive, I am warmly welcomed by the security team and porter, followed by the always professional and gracious front desk staff. Stepping into a spotless, thoughtfully prepared room with a beautiful view of the ocean feels like reconnecting with a place I genuinely trust and appreciate. I am still looking forward to experiencing the cuisine and testing the internet speed during this stay. As I am scheduled to check out on 5 December 2025, I have a few more days to enjoy the hospitality and service that continue to bring me back. I will gladly share an update once my visit has come to an end.
Good evening, MTN. I would like to express my concern regarding the significant decline in service quality I have experienced recently. For a long time, I have received exceptional service and have been very satisfied with my home Wi-Fi. I pay just over R1000 per month, and until now, the connection has consistently performed well. However, over the past two weeks, my internet speed has frequently dropped to an unusable level. This evening, 18 November 2025, I contacted MTN Technical Support for assistance. I was informed that there was coverage and now there isn't, and the explanation provided compared the network coverage to weather patterns — sometimes it is there, and sometimes it isn’t. I encourage you to listen to the call, as the agent even suggested that the contract may need to be cancelled. I am requesting clarity from someone within MTN who can explain this situation. I have the call recorded, and I need to understand why this should not be viewed as misleading, especially when customers are not informed of such issues and when it appears that some technicians may not fully understand the network behaviour. I kindly ask that someone contact me directly to resolve this matter. As one of South Africa’s leading telecommunications providers, I trust MTN will not ignore this concern and will assist me in finding a fair and satisfactory solution. Thank you
MTN Home WiFi has been absolutely fantastic, and I’ve really appreciated the reliable service it has provided. However, over the past week, I’ve noticed a considerable drop in signal speed in the Rietkol, Sundra AH area. This ongoing slowdown has become a serious concern, as the connection has remained consistently low for just over a week now. I’ll continue to monitor the situation, but I wanted to bring it to your attention, as I may need to reconsider my subscription if the issue persists.
Dear Activision Support, I am writing to express my concern and disappointment regarding what appears to be a shadow ban placed on my account. I am currently unable to join matches with friends, which has significantly impacted my experience with the game. I have legally purchased all of my games and have never questioned the pricing. However, like many other players, I’ve become increasingly frustrated with the presence of hackers in the game. The situation has deteriorated to the point where it’s often difficult to distinguish between highly skilled players and those using unfair advantages. I want to clarify that I do not use any form of cheats, hacks, or unauthorized software. You are welcome to review my gaming system—there is nothing suspicious or in violation of your terms of service. It is disheartening to feel penalized as an honest player, especially when the broader issue of cheating continues to affect the community. I would greatly appreciate it if you could review my account and provide clarification on the reason for the shadow ban.
Garden Court Marine Parade – Durban Beachfront Good Day, Background: While I often travel internationally, the majority of my journeys are within South Africa. My international travels have taken me to destinations such as England, Ireland, and most recently, Romania – an incredible and memorable experience. Upon returning to South Africa, my travel focus typically shifts back to local business trips, which leave little room for rest. Over the years, I have become a loyal patron of the Garden Court Marine Parade for a number of reasons. After long days filled with meetings, audits, and constant movement – often with travel in between – most people would wish to return home to unwind in comfort. For me, Garden Court Marine Parade provides exactly that: a true “home away from home.” The staff consistently deliver exceptional service. Security always welcomes guests back with a friendly smile. The front desk team is attentive and eager to assist in any way possible. Housekeeping ensures rooms are impeccably maintained, while the technical team keeps all in-room facilities in perfect working order. Dining is equally impressive. The in-room meals prepared by the kitchen are of outstanding quality, with presentation and flavour on par with those of top international hotels. Although I have yet to experience the evening dining in the lounge, I will be doing so tonight. If the dinner service mirrors the excellence of the breakfast team, I have no doubt it will be another memorable experience – one I will gladly share with friends and family both locally and abroad. A sincere thank you to the entire management and staff of Garden Court Marine Parade for the consistent dedication, attention to detail, and warm hospitality that make each stay an absolute pleasure.
Vodacom Customer Service as i have always stated is profesional and a class above the rest ,however, cancelling a contract is the only serious downside refer to info below I am writing to formally address an unresolved issue concerning a Vodacom Home WiFi contract I entered into in November 2024. The contract included a 2TB data cap at 100Mbps speed and a router, and was initiated through the Vodacom Shop at Lakeside Mall, Benoni. Unfortunately, after installation, I experienced extremely poor signal strength at my residence in a rural farming community—averaging just 12Mbps. I reported this to Vodacom’s technical department, and after several attempts to resolve the issue by resetting the tower signal and SIM card, I was informed that any further resets could damage the SIM. I subsequently visited the Lakeside Mall Vodacom Shop, where a consultant suggested that the router may be faulty. The router was exchanged, but there was no improvement in signal strength. Following this, I was advised that the contract could be cancelled only after the technical team conducted a signal test at my residence. I comp**** with this process. A few days later, the technical team confirmed that the signal was insufficient and that the matter would be escalated to the cancellations department. The cancellations department contacted me and arranged for the router to be collected by RAM Couriers. Due to illness, I was unavailable on the scheduled collection date and had made arrangements for the router to be collected from my workplace instead. Despite following up with the courier company multiple times, the collection did not occur as planned. Eventually, I posted a positive review on HelloPeter commending Vodacom's customer service, while also highlighting the issue of the uncollected router. Shortly thereafter, Vodacom contacted me again, and another collection was arranged. As per the attached proof, the router was successfully collected on 24 April 2025. Since then, I have followed up with Vodacom on several occasions to confirm that the contract has been cancelled. To my dismay, I continued to receive bills and have now been contacted by HP Attorneys regarding an outstanding account. This clearly indicates that the contract was never cancelled, despite my compliance with all required steps. This matter has significantly impacted both my personal life and my credit score. I am now considering taking legal action and instructing my legal representative to retrieve all call logs and records of communication with Vodacom as supporting evidence that I have acted in good faith throughout this process. As of today, Vodacom has informed me that the matter has once again been logged and escalated for resolution
Our experience at DNK Residence was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the hosts went above and beyond—warm, courteous, and genuinely attentive. They were always available, regardless of the hour, ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. We traveled as a family from South Africa to Romania to attend our eldest daughter’s wedding—an unforgettable occasion in itself. Staying at DNK Residence in Inariei, Simila, made the entire trip even more special. The atmosphere was both peaceful and welcoming, allowing us to feel completely at home. We sincerely hope to return to Romania in the coming years, and without a doubt, we will choose DNK Residence again. It’s a place we would revisit time and time again without hesitation. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful hosts—we will always cherish this experience.
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone at Garden Court Marine Parade for making my recent stay—from 28 May to 30 May 2025—such a memorable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was reminded of all the wonderful memories from past visits. It’s difficult to pinpoint just one highlight, as every aspect of my stay exceeded expectations. The front desk staff were exceptionally polite and accommodating, while the security personnel maintained their usual high level of alertness and warmth. The behind-the-scenes teams, such as room service and technical support, truly went above and beyond. I’d like to especially commend the technician who ensured the in-room safe was functioning properly, as well as the team who promptly attended to the TV to make sure it was working perfectly. Dining at the lounge was another remarkable experience—compliments to the Chef and kitchen staff for the excellent cuisine. The room service and porters were also outstanding and exemplified high standards of hospitality. Most notably, the warm welcome and attentiveness of the Hotel Manager made me feel truly at home and comfortable throughout my stay. It was a level of care and professionalism that is rare and deeply appreciated. Please continue to uphold the exceptional standards you’ve become known for. I am more than happy to share my positive experiences at your hotel during my travels abroad. Thank you once again.
I would like to once again express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service provided by Vodacom’s Customer Service and Collections teams. Their swift and professional handling of my concerns has been truly commendable. The router has now been successfully collected, and the account information has been updated accordingly. However, I am still receiving a bill for two months despite not having used the router during that period. I want to emphasize that I do not place any blame on Vodacom, as I fully understand that this may be a result of necessary administrative processes. This billing issue remains my only outstanding concern, and I am genuinely regretful that I was unable to continue my service with Vodacom. Nonetheless, I stand by my previous sentiments—Vodacom remains, without a doubt, a leader in customer support within the industry.
