I regret ever trusting Samsung Fourways crossing with my phone. From the start, the experience was dismal: staff standing around scrolling their own devices while customers waited, and the technician supposedly “on duty” was actually out shopping. When someone finally returned, I was told to pay a R550 deposit just for a quote. The phone was then sent to Samsung, and weeks later I received a staggering R3000+ estimate for a screen replacement far beyond what the repair should cost. Matters only got worse. After passing details to my insurance, after chasing up, I learned my phone had been handed to a third party without my consent. I was told bluntly that I had “no choice” but to replace the phone. In the end, not only was I overcharged, but I now face an additional R750 fee just to recover my own data. Professionalism was absent, customer service dismissive, and the entire process left me out of pocket and without a working phone. Save yourself the frustration: avoid this business. There’s a reputable repair shop just a few doors down that charges fair prices and actually delivers on their promises. My daughter really wanted her data back. We tried to recover the phone for the data recovery, and Samsung has lost her phone. You can walk in, stand at the counter, cough theatrically, do a small interpretive dance… and still no one will acknowledge your existence. Such a beautiful brand and store with such terrible service! Stay away from here if you value your money and sanity!
I recently made a purchase on the Yaga app and needed to cancel the order. Unfortunately, the refund process has been quite challenging. The system is fully automated, and without communication from the seller, resolving the issue becomes unnecessarily difficult. At this stage, I’m considering removing the app while I wait for the refund to be finalised. Should the matter be resolved, I will gladly update my review. For now, the app lacks the comprehensiveness needed for a smooth user experience when problems arise.
They will charge you monthly premiums but when it comes to paying out they won't. You can call them until you are blue in the face and all they will say is 7-14 working days and their claims department doesn't have phones or emails. You have to talk to a call center agent who only knows how to say "It's been escalated" and "You can call back tomorrow for the same feedback". 7-14 working days is more like 7-14 years. RUN do not sign up with these people! It's easier to ask a random homeless guy to cover your medical aid short falls!
They change partners to checkers and they don't tell their clients! Then when you try to link your account their terrible website does not work. They use AI bots and they are useless! What a waste of time
This week the management at Planet Fitness (PF) Fourways Mega Gym informed us verbally after we asked, that they will be "demolishing" our squash courts because they want to make more money from members. I have been a member of PF for close to 20 years. I along with over 140 other members form part of the social squash league at the gym. The league is run and administered by the members. Clearly, PF has no interest in member health, enjoyment, or comradery. The league is significant to us, as we have formed friendships and play monthly competitions at the gym keeping us healthy and in shape. Most of the players only play squash at the gym and will cancel their contracts if the courts are removed. Please do not demolish the courts!
Complained so many times about your service at your Grosvenor Crossing branch. Decided to stop on my way home. Big mistake! should've gone anywhere else instead! Your staff are still rude, your food is still forgettable and you still charge extra, for sauces! Waste of my time and money!
Pick n Pay is a terrible franchise! The only one worth going to was Douglasdale Pick n Pay and now with new management is ruined with off food and hardly any stock on the shelves! You complain and they ask you a million questions via a private reply! Pick up a phone and get your useless, lazy head office staff to actually address the complaint properly! I will never ever shop at any Pick n Pay ever again! I would rather starve to death! P.S Woolworths is better value at the moment!
The store seems like it is going under. Selling chicken at reduced to clear prices and it's all off! No stock on shelves! Only two tills open and queues for days! You have dropped the ball and we will never be back!
You have the option to order in advance and collect at a later time, on your app... I ordered food at 18:00 to collect at 19:00. When I collected it, it was ice-cold, 1-hour-old food. I asked the staff when it was cooked and they said 5 minutes before I arrived.
The gym has poor ventilation, during load shedding you can't even breathe because it is so hot! The whole place smells like sweat and there are zero windows that can open. Their pool heater never works. Loads of light bulbs are broken and need to be replaced. A/C in the spinning class is broken. They have removed all the AED machines. The staff laughs at you when you complain. They have no complaints book. They have changed their times to curfew covid times and not the times they had before covid. So now you pay more for less! The squash glass is mismatched and unsafe.
