I submitted a claim on the 1st of April and it was booked in on the 8th of April 2024. I was told the estimated turn around time is 9 days but until today I do not have my car. Last week Friday I was told my car would be ready on Monday and I advised that I would not be around after which it was agreed that the repairers would keep my car until my return. Today the repairer calls me to tell me there is one part missing and the ETA is June but it might me more than that. At this point my insurer which I’m paying is silent about this. This is why customers reverse their premiums !!!!
I submitted a claim through Naked insurance and I was instructed to take my vehicle to Major 2 auto body repairs which I did on the 8th of April 2024. Mind you this was for minimal damages, no internal damages whatsoever. Whilst it was there they have given me 2 completion dates which they didn’t stick to. Last week Friday they advised my vehicle would be ready for collection on Monday and I advised them I will not be around to collect but ll do on the 6th of May. Today they called advising me there is one part missing and the ETA for that part is June. My question is the time they gave me those completion dates did they not know the part is not available???they are really taking me for a ride and they obviously expect an excess for this terrible service wow.
I bought a shoe at Europa art Clearwater mall on the 3rd of September around 17:00. When I got home I put on both shoes but they were extremely uncomfortable, first thing in the morning of the 4th I returned the shoe to the store. Looked around to see if I could take something else and all the other shoes I liked were either too big or too tight and I opted for a refund. I was told they can’t refund me, I have to get a gift card or credit note, I find this very disturbing as no one told me about this policy prior to me buying the shoe. The sales person was very much aware that I was hesitant to buy the shoe and at that point she should have said if you are doubting leave it because you won’t be able to return it but because she was pushing a sale she kept quiet. Is this even in line with the consumer protection Act????i left the shoe in the store and waiting for head office to contact me.
I ordered fibre last week and I was charged R250 for delivery. Today I liased with 3 different agents trying to follow up on my order. They all couldn’t help me , they basically said I must just wait. I then decided to cancel my order, as soon as I dropped the line another 249 was debited from my account without my consent. When I enquired what it’s for I was told it’s for delivery? Why am I being charged twice for delivery ??? On top of that all I have received is pathetic service. Kindly refund my money.
I don’t know how many times I have called the u count rewards team for reversal of my funds which were transferred to a dormant account. It’s been more than two weeks and every time I call they tell me they are waiting for management to reverse the funds but there is no turn around time. I pay for the u count rewards and I expect good service not this run around that they are giving me.
I did a trade in at i store Clearwater on Friday and I selected the cash back option. I was told they would do an eft but up to today I haven’t received the money. I sent an email and called to follow up only to be told they are waiting for the finance dpt to process the payment. They already took my phone and now it’s difficult for them to pay me. We are tired of these big companies taking advantage of consumers. They wouldn’t let you walk out of that door without paying for a simple charger !!! Wow
I purchased shoes online and I then returned 1 pair. On 22 Julh I received an email acknowledging receipt of the shoes. A week later I called and I was told that the refund had been processed on 23 July 2021 but surprisingly I still haven’t received the money. How long can it take to do a transfer back to the account?
I bought an iPhone se from MTN Clearwater on 22 September 2020 and within a week the cable stopped working. I took it back only to be told that the warranty is only phone the cellphone and not the cable. How can this be if I phone the supplier of the phone provides a warranty for the charger as well. I have had to spend R500 extra for a cable and I’m sitting with a brand new Cable that’s not working. I store was also suprised at why MTN would refuse to take the cable back as it’s still brand new.
I made 2 online purchases to a total of R485.00 around 26 Jan 2021. I never received confirmation of the said orders and I called in today to check where the orders are. I spoke to Jackie who confirmed that the orders were cancelled but I was never informed of this. The money was deducted from my account but she tells me it’s hanging. Where is it hanging because it was deducted from my account? In the first place why was it even taken if the items were out of stock. Refund my money immediately!!
