I had a Homechoice account which I opened sometime in 2022, I lost my job and had difficulty paying the account and it was handed over to MBD and I made arrangements to settle the account with MBD, a few weeks ago I got called by Nimble regarding the same account which I settled with MBD. I have since requested a paid up letter from MBD because I need to use it to get a place to stay and no one bothers to respond to my emails and I’ve been calling as well but nothing is happening instead the account isn’t even updated on credit burea. This is sickening and no one seems to know what they’re doing at Homechoice because when I went to the branch to enquire, the employees were not even sure where the account was handed to so Homechoice customers who, unfortunately, get handed over for various reasons could actually get ****med because at some point, I had an arrangement with MBD but Nimble was on my case as well so it gives the idea that the customers could easily be compromised as well. Right now, I’m sick ans tired of the going around with no communication. I just want my paid up letter and move on. Otherwise I wouldn’t recommend Homechoice and MBD to anyone.
Southgate branch, what a ****. My gym membership expired and they automatically continued with it and said that was part of the contract, to automatically continue if I don’t send a cancellation email. I sent the email last month, 4 times. No one bothered to respond or at least acknowledge the cancellation. All they do is to continuously debit my account. I have called the head office, the Menlyn office and no one is bothered to assist. This is a ****, just after people’s money with no proper communication or whatsoever.
The worst ever!!!! what a ****. My gym membership expired and they continued with it saying I’m supposed to send a cancellation email as my contract states. I’ve been sending that email since August and the whole of last month, no one bothers to respond or even acknowledge the cancellation but they are the first to debit my account. It’s a ****!!!!! Avoid them at all costs.
I bought a fridge at Game, The Glen mall. I was assisted by Refilwe on Saturday the 30/11/2024. She advised it was already late so they would proceed with delivery on Monday and I requested a Tuesday because I was going away for work, she captured that information and advised that the delivery would be done on Tuesday, the 3rd of December 2024. What irritates me is how we have to run after you for an update and you keep telling us different stories. Mind you, I struggled for 2 full days to get through to the relevant department to be able to track my item and only when I called the head office number, a lady tracked it for me and told me that it was still in the store and on Thursday evening, I called the store again and I was eventually put through to the 2nd in charge called Chris who advised that the item left the store at 16:10 and it would be delivered to me on that same evening. It’s now Monday evening, the 9th of December. It’s beginning of the 2nd week, I haven’t received my fridge instead I received a “courtesy call” to review Game and I’m asking myself what exactly am I reviewing when you haven’t delivered my fridge because you basically just took my money. Your service is terrible and pathetic. This is unacceptable. The decency to communicate and update your customers would really go a long way. I just want my refund now, that’s all!
Horrible experience after they took my money twice, now the account is in "arrears" and has dropped my credit score. How pathetic can this company be. I took a loan with at Marble Towers on the 20th of July 2023 for one month, I paid it within a week, they deducted twice on the 25th July 2022, I was left with nothing to feed my family with. I had to fight to get my refund, now I check my credit score, it has dropped by 24 points because this horrible company my account listed as unpaid, what the hell do you treat people like that? You're a horrible company, I would never recommend you anywhere and I'll definitely escalate this.
I have never been this stressed out. I took a loan for R2500 at Marble Towers and I was assisted by Nthabiseng, Penny and Abbie. I agreed to pay the loan in one month and it was R3014.96 on the 25 July 2022. Then they debited twice and the R55 for the card which I paid manually for. I called for the refund,the lied and said in 48hours I would get it, instead I received a message stating that I did not pay my account and they are preparing for legal action against me and when I called customer care,they confirmed that I was owing them R3014.96. Both payments to them are on my statement.I'm sitting on a minus bank balance now,I could not even buy food at home.I don't think you understand the depression that you're causing people. You're cruel shame,robbing people of their hard-earned cash.
