I bought a motorcycle (2008 Yamaha TDM 850) cash from this dealer. Firstly when I bought this motorcycle for my son there was a problem with the thermoswitch which did not kick in. The owner Johann Claasen then promised to get a new replacement part. He then bought an incorrect part which did not fit on this motorcycle. At this stage my son was working in Johann's workshop and the current workshop manager suggested that they put a switch on the thermoswitch to switch it on and off manually. This worked well for a while, but after driving this motorcycle for 51km the motorcycle completely lost power and oil came out of the sides of the engine. Now Big Eazy refuses to take responsibility for advise given by their workshop manager. Also it was promised that the motorcycle will get a full service before we take delivery of the motorcycle which never happened. Another concern is that Johann appointed my son with lots of promises to send him for the proper qualifications to assist in the workshop. This never happened and my son had to work on clients motorcycles with very limited knowledge. Johann refused him to do the service on the motorcycle that was promised to me when I bought this motorcycle, this is why I know for sure this motorcycle was never serviced. My son was not the only person working in that workshop with lots of promises for the correct training and qualifications, actually most of them were not qualified to work on motorcycles. It also took them 3 weeks to do the change of ownership and we are still waiting for the paperwork to be delivered to us. Do yourself a favor and stay far away, as this company is full of promises and never delivers.
My son-in-law is having the worst experience ever. His first vehicle that he is actually buying and this turned into a nightmare. He bought a Ford Ranger from Top Speed Motors in February 2025. The very first day he took delivery of the vehicle he experienced problems. When he stopped at home the Ford did not want to start. He contacted Top Speed Motors and they collected it 2 day after and got the problem sorted. This is where the nightmare and pathetic service started. He mentioned to them that the gearbox is making a funny noice and that some gauges are not working properly. His insurance required a tracker system installed. After this installation the vehicle did not want to charge again. He did contact the tracker company and they assured him it was not a fault from their side. He then contacted Top Speed motors again with all the other faults and they came to collect the bakkie after approximately 2 weeks. They then all of a sudden refused to assist him to get his vehicle sorted out. They even sent him the invoice for the towing service and started charging him storage fees while the vehicle is at there premises. They haven't tried anything to get this vehicle back on the road. He is now paying for a vehicle that is standing at Top Speed Motors premises. They just refuse to assist him. What was supposed to be a very awesome experience with his first self owned vehicle reallyl became a nightmare. Top Speed Motors are just ignoring all out cries for assistance. Stay far away.
Pathetic service and pizzas. Ordered through Mr Delivery. When Mr D got there they haven't started with the order stating there is nothing on their system. Then all of a sudden they found the order. They must have rushed to then do this order as this was the worst pizzas ever. Tasteless and very oily. Seeing that my order was an hour late, I phoned them to find out where my food is. The lady that answered the phone was extremely rude and did not even try to apologize for the food being late. Stay away and don't waste your money at this franchise.
Most awful attorney group to ever deal with. Have sent 4 emails, left multiple messages on their land-line and they just never return your calls or emails. This is regarding my 3rd party claim where I was hit of my motorcycle by their client and I have all witnesses, photos etc stating my claim. This already happened on 30 January 2024 and they are still not able to finalize my claim. Really pathetic service. Send emails to Mr ******, Angelique and Luke with no success.
Most pathetic finance company in SA. Will never use them again. Firstly I applied for finance through them which was approved (UNFORTUNATELY). On my application form I stated that my salary gets paid on the 25th of each month. I contacted Marquis and explained to them that most months my company pays my salary late and asked them to change my debit order date to the 1st of every month which they refused. So this month my debit order was returned. My salary came in on the 26th. I made a manual payment so that my account will not be in arrears. After months of fighting with them they agreed to move my debit order to the 27th... Still not the first and I hope and pray my salary will be in every month before the 27th... I then contacted them and asked for a settlement amount on my account where they replied "Why do you want a settlement amount if your account is only 3 months old?". This has nothing to do with them, If I want to settle my account it is my choice! After about 4 hours they sent me my settlement amount and charges me over R10,000.00 penalty for early settlement... I will most definitely tell you to stay far away from this company. Their service is pathetic and all their clauses is a bunch off bullsh#%. As soon as my vehicle is settled with this bunch of thieves I will never use them again. I'd rather lose a vehicle than using their finance!
