I contacted BF Motorcycles in Knysna on the 25th November as my scooter would not start and I needed two new tires. It took them 10 days to inform me that the tires had arrived but that they couldn't get a bigger back one and that I should use the same one front and back which set off alarm bells as this is dangerous. Another 3 days passed, and I was told there was a problem with stock. (I thought the tires had arrived???) Another week passed without contact from them and then the receptionist promised, only after I called them relentlessly that they were now waiting for a trailer to come and collect my bike. After calling the next day to ask how much longer I had to wait for the trailer to arrive, she promised me that she'd send the mechanic over to fetch it. Needless to say, he never arrived. I then called her and said that if they didn't want my business, they should tell me as there were other people I could go to. "No, we'll definitely send someone today". Once again, a no show, and nine days later I have not heard a word from them again. They have wasted my time with their constant lies. I will never go to them again. Stay away from them, they are bad news!!! Fortunately, I have found someone else in George who was able to collect the bike from me and fit it with the correct tires too!
I have had endless problems with Internet Connections and have phoned Telkom about this on going issue for the last three months, requesting that someone comes to have a look at the issue. The last call I was issued a reference number, and a few days later the issue was closed without having spoken to me. How do I solve this erratic service and non-delivery?
I booked to stay there on 23 September. They demanded a R2000 holding deposit from me, which got withdrawn immediately out of my account. Its now a month later and I have still not received my deposit bank. This is totally unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!
I signed up for discovery health a few months ago, got a smart ring to record my steps and heart rate and have been training really hard and have lost 9kgs, all of which I shouldn't have, as I have been fit my entire life and have lost all the bulk I was trying to achieve. Apparently, my heart rate is not high enough for me to be making my weekly points targets and all the work I've being putting in has been for nothing. A complete waste of time and money of getting my smart ring. I've never felt more inadequate and more stressed out my entire life. This was supposed to be beneficial for my life, but it's been anything but. I am totally done with the program.
After seeing it being voted as one of the top six steak restaurants in the world I decided to try it. Not sure who gave the rating, but all three steaks at the table were tough, as well as overcooked when we all asked for medium rare, and the fries looked like and tasted like they came out of a frozen packet. I decided to give it a second try. Steaks were a bit better 2nd time round, but the fries were still tasteless and appeared to come out of a packet. Iron would certainly not appear on my list of top 20 in South Africa, never mind the world. So very disappointing overall. I won't be going back.
My partner returned to the restaurant after 2 months and was told by the waiter, who recognized him, that he had paid double on his last visit, and presented him with the till slip displaying the amount he had paid. He was not charged for the food he had there that evening. The degree of honesty and recognition is highly commended.
Probably the most professional and efficient service I've received from any institute in Knysna. They came out on the day as time promised, delivered and installed the Air Cons without much disruption to my day. I would highly recommend them, and commend them too on their after service.. Thank you Colin and your team for the exceptional service received.
Two and a half years ago I contacted the Consumer Complaints Commission in Elizabeth Street, Wonderboom wrt to an item I had bought, which wasn't up to my standards. I had returned it the supplier, who refused to give me a refund. They charged me a fee for mediation and promised to validate and investigate my case at no cost. I issued all relevant documents to Marleen (Maritz) De Lange who drafted a letter of complaint. They then contacted the supplier to mediate a dispute between myself and them in order to find an amicable resolution to the dispute. They were not able to achieve this and then drafted the documents and compiled a comprehensive complaint document and referred me to the The National Consumer Commission to take it further. All further correspondence to them has been ignored, and no further assistance was given. They were misleading and did not live up to what they promised. A complete waste of time and money as I could've complied the documents myself. At the end of it all, no justice was served, and 2 years of my time and money was wasted.
After returning a faulty newly purchased printer I have waited for almost three months to get a refund from them. On the 6th September an email was sent to me to confirm that a refund would be done. I have been constantly lied to on several occasions about payment that would've been made within two days. My last email that I sent to the lady dealing with this has been ignored and my call ten minutes ago was not put through to her as she was "OUT". How much more lies do I have to endure? I want my refund so that I can purchase a new one elsewhere as I will NEVER support Incredible Connection ever again. The level of service has been nothing short of disgusting and atrocious.
I recently bought an HP Smart Tank 750 Printer/copier/scanner from the branch in George. Within 5 weeks, the printer no longer worked. I returned it to the Knysna Branch who sent it away for repairs. I was not offered a refund/replacement or the option of the repair. After 6 weeks of being inconvenienced they returned the printer to me, only to find that after it printed once, it ceased to print again. I have now taken it back to them again, and they now refuse to give me a refund because I no longer have the original packaging. This has now almost been going on for 2 months, and every time I need to have something printed I need to drive into town to get it printed elsewhere, all while they sit with my money and printer. Incredible Connection Head office hasn't even responded to my emails. This is ridiculous and I will NEVER support Incredible Connection again, especially after the appalling service I have had from them.
