This review relates to Sanlam Gap Cover. I have been trying to sort out a claim since my operation on the 21st of January 2025. Sanlam did not provide me with all the documents required. Each week a different document. Delaying the process. Once all docs received had to call constantly for a month and a half to get the claim sorted. Still not completed. I get pushed from one person to the next. Each one promising and not delivering. Received a statement from Sanlam Gap Cover with one service provider amount being R100,000 more than the claim. No one can tell me why????? This particular claim is the one that they for some reason cannot finalise. They cannot tell me what the problem is. Very Frustrating!!!! Hope to get answers soon.
Unfortunately my previous post was deleted. Please make sure when buying from the 2ndhandwarehouse in Montegue Gardens that your purchase is checked for damages. I would suggest going through and viewing the goods. Unfortunately I received damaged items and was not able to return without a cost to me. I did not receive good after sales service. One cannot speak to a manager as its against their company policy. At the end of the day, I'm sitting with damaged goods, paid double delivery fee and no refund.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER BUYING FROM THE 2NDHANDWAREHOUSE MONTEGUE GARDENS!!!!!! I bought 6 x chairs and a dining room table online. I unfortunately made seperate purchases online. When I called about the delivery I mentioned this and was told they would look into it. I'm still waiting for my refund for the double delivery fee when everything came on one vehicle at the same time! When my delivery arrived, I noticed 3 of the 6 chairs where damaged. I was told to contact the warehouse. THIS WAS WHERE MY NIGHTMARE STARTED! I phoned the 2nd Hand Warehouse the very next morning. For hours no one answered the phone. I then resorted to the WhatsApp forum. I dealt with Wallace. For 3 days he kept me waiting for answers on the collection of the damaged chairs. Also confirmation of a refund. I had sent pictures which were dated. I had sent purchase orders with proof of the double delivery fee. Eventually on the Tuesday I was told collection would be made on the Wednesday (today). I was also told I would be charged for the collection of the damaged goods they sent me. At this point I absolutely lost it. I cancelled the collection. This company operates with absolutely NO ETHICS! In my opinion and experience THEY ARE *******. THEY ALSO FALSELY ADVERTISE GOODS. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!
I had to go for blood tests at Patcare situated at Intercare Tygervalley Cape Town. For these tests I had to fast and couldn't take my tablets which I havevto take every morning first thing. These tablets are vital for many reasons. One being my conscious behaviour. I went into the practice the day before and explained this. I had to fast for 12 hours for the tests. I got there at 7:30 with 4 people already in the rooms. When reception asked me to pay before I had my bloods done, I was rude. I explained my condition. Did I not overhear them discussing me and my attitude. This despite explaining my condition. I was very embarrassed. Eventually at 08h15 the sister called me. I didn't hear her as I'm deaf in my one ear. Sister Hendrieka Pienaar took her time asking several questions which had been answered at reception. Again I was rude, because of my condition and no tablets taken yet. I explained my condition and asked her to proceed with the bloods. She was not trained enough to deal with the situation. I paid my bill and had a R80 credit which they did not deduct. I only saw this once I got home had my medication and could think properly. I apologise for my rudeness, however it was explained. This branch of Pathcare - Drs Dietrich, Voigt & Partners will never see me again!!!
WHAT A DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. firstly I'm not a professional nail technician. I was referred by a friend to go to Maskscara Milnerton in Cape Town to get gel polish. My friend came with me as she wanted to buy some gel polish for me as a birthday gift. Unbeknown to me she bought the same colours I had chosen, which meant I had 2 of the same colour. Apart from that the store had bottles with codes on in the wrong place. So I had taken the colour I didn't want. When I return to the store to do an exchange, I was told there is a no exchange policy. I had not even opened the packaging. They had NO signs up in the store at all. Despite no signage the regional manager would not let me do an exchange. She said they have thousands of clients and because of the chemicals in the polish they could not exchange. As an amateur I did not know this. Unfortunately now they have lost a client. Please be aware of this should you buy from them. On returning from the store I opened the polishes and 3 of them were extremely thick in consistency. I can't use them. One very unhappy customer!
Gugu was absolutely fantastic. Very professional and knowledgeable. Gugu helped me in a friendly manner. I'm very impressed.
Afrihost are my service provider. I have logged several calls with Afrihost regarding the poor installation of my fibre done by Openserve. I have sent emails with pictures and don't get a response from Afrihost. I called today to speak to a manager and had to leave a message with my number and a promise he would call me back within the next hour. That was at 9am this morning. I am still waiting at 14h45 for the call. I was referred to Afrihost by friends of mine. I'm now doubting my decision. I actually do not know what to do. I rent the property and the owner is threatening to pull everything out leaving me with no Fibre. This was explained to Afrihost. I am one unhappy customer.
