I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at Checkers Oceans Mall. The experience today was far from acceptable. I was served by a cashier named Sbahle Zaca, who greeted me with an attitude as if I wasn’t there to spend my money. As she was scanning my items, I informed her that I would need cash back. With a straight face, she responded, "I don’t have cash, you must go to that cashier," pointing to her colleague who was already busy with another customer. After completing my transaction, she neither apologized nor thanked me. She simply handed me the receipt without any acknowledgment. My concern is why the option for cash back is even available if it’s not being properly managed. If the store has run out of cash, why is this not communicated beforehand? Furthermore, why is there such a lack of courtesy from the staff? It's not the first time I've encountered this level of unprofessionalism at this location. For a busy store like Checkers Gateway, I have never had such a poor experience, which is why I continue to shop there. If this is not addressed, you risk losing many customers due to your inconsistency and lack of professionalism.
I visited MTN store Umhlanga by Coastlands on the 14th of November 2023. I was so disappointed at a service I received from lady called Regina. Firstly called and greeted me and then I explained my reason for being there. She asked for my ID to get onto my profile and at the time she had started giggling and chatting with three of her colleagues who are same race as her. She then completetly decided to act like there was no client infront of her busy working on the system but her main focus was the chat with her colleagues. When she was done she then remembered she did not ask me security questions and then called my name as confirmation. I then explained my other reason for being there but she did not assist whatsoever because she was rushing to finish so she can rush back to her chitchatting. I then decided to leave the branch. This is so unprofessional and the sad part is that I have never experienced something like that at MTN. Please have a chat with this lady.
This company is a ****! There is a guy by the name Wisman Bhengu who posts adverts and when people apply he calls them and say there is a position of which candidate who were interviewed were not successful so you are the candidate they want to give a chance, if you ask about the recruitment process interviews etc he tells you that they will skip that part but you have to pay a R8000 bribery - their website looks very accurate and the contact numbers are linked to the company etc… this Wiseman guy will go to an extent of sending you the offer letter and all necessary paperwork. Again, all this looks very accurate DO NOT FALL FOR IT! Everything about this is a ****!
YESTERDAY (13/04/2023) I WENT TO THE SPAR WORKSHOP TO BUY A FEW THINGS, I DID MY SHOPPING AND WHEN I GOT TO THE TELLERS ONE OF THEM DECIDED THEY WANT US TO MOVE TO ANOTHER TILL AND THIS WAS NOT IN A NICE MANNER, WE THEN MOVED AND THEN A FEW SECONDS WE SAW ANOTHER CASHIER GETTING HER STUFF AND PAID FOR. I WAS ATTENDED BY N.GOGE “BAD ATTITUDE” SHE SCANNED ALL MY STAFF THEN LOOKED ME IN THE EYES WITH A RUDE FACE - I THEN ASKED IF THERE ARE ANY BAGS AVAILABLE. SHE ASKED ME TO GO TO ANOTHER CASHIER TO ASK FOR A BAG! I DIDN’T TAKE IT PERSONALLY EVEN THOUGH THAT IS HER JOB, I ASKED FOR THE BAG AND I HANDED IT TO HER SHE STILL DIDN’T PACK MY STUFF UNTILL I ASKED HER TO DO SO, SHE ROUGHLY PACKED THE TISSUES I HAD BOUGHT WITH A BAG FACING UPSIDE DOWN. SHE THEN LOOKED AT ME TO SHOW SHE IS DONE WITH ME! I AM UPSET AND VERY UNHAPPY ABOUT THIS SERVICE AND I DOUBT I WILL EVER GO TO SPAR AGAIN IF THIS IS THE ATTITUDE I WILL GET FROM CASHIERS!
Takealot is really getting bad! My order was supposed to be delivered on Friday last week as per order date on the system, yesterday the guy just pitched without me receiving any notification and I wasn’t available and I had to reschedule on the system for today. Again no confirmation or notification was received, the delivery guy pitched again with a wrong order and worse part is that the order number doesn’t correspond to the one on the system! How ridiculous because I had to ask the delivery guy not to leave it with me!! Up your game guys your service is terrible!

Hi there, I had such a bad customer service at Checkers today, I went to the wine cellar and bought my bottle of wine, there was a young gentleman wearing a white T-shirt and on his name tag he is down as YOH - so he asked me to swap my checkers Xtra savings card and I mentioned the item I had bought has no discount meaning it won’t make any difference.. he looked at my wallet, ignoring what I had just said to him and “in a very rude manner” said to me mfwethu I see the card just swap it.. this to me is unacceptable, I shouldn’t be forced to swap the card if I don’t want to know what I have bought and the price of the item, also what gives your cashier the right to look through my wallet and make demands.. I am hoping that this will be taken seriously and addressed as it is very unprofessional and shows very less knowledge from your staff. Thank you, Senzo
I had such a bad customer service experience at Chicken Licken Gateway on Wednesday the 31st of August 2022, in fact it was the worst customer service ever, I felt like I was owe your cashier something or I have done something wrong to them - her name tag was written Zinhle, from when I greeted this lady you could see she doesn’t want to be there, when I asked for options that you guys offer for hot wings she was answering in a very rude manner as if she was selling your product to one of her worst enemy, I asked for options for your catchup and she gave me limited information, as I moved to the receiving of purchase section there she was being rude to another customer - you guys need to address this or I’m never ever going to any of your Chicken Licken stores - this is how you lose customers, hiring unfriendly employees, thank you my name is Senzo
