I have used clinique products for years, but their website and their service has me looking elsewhere. Trying to submit payment on their website is insanely difficult. I shop online regularly, I have enough funds, I have cards that are set up correctly. A few months back I had issues and their customer service reps gave me the runaround, eventually insisting that it was an issue with my bank./ I eventually figured it out for myself: my profile and my bank card had different surnames so once I made them match, all worked perfectly. They didn't seem to know that. This time round, everything matches, but I tried repeatedly, at different times of the day, to get my order confirmed before a major special offer expired. Nothing I tried worked. And of course you cannot get hold of them by any means. No email address - you must call or use live chat. The number they insist on their website is on whatsapp, does not exist on whatsapp. When you call it you're told it's out of their hours but please use live chat to prevent having to call again. Sounds helpful, right? Except the live chat tells you it's outside of operating hours so come back later. Absolutely impossible to make a purchase. Clearly not eager for business as their customer service is non-existent and they make it as difficult as possible to contact them. Sort out your website with correct information! (Oh, and this won't reach them as the business isn't claimed and there is NO EMAIL ADDRESS that can be added. What business operates without any public email address? So basically just a vent for myself.)
Ordering my chosen gift was incredibly easy and it arrived in elegant packaging. I am very impressed. The process could be improved with better filters and search functionality - had to wade through tons of irrelevant options - and by making it clearer if you are delivering the item to yourself to hand to the recipient or if you are having it delivered to the recipient themselves.
Very pleasant first experience. Seats were fairly old and certainly nothing fancy. I'm not sure that a cold croissant is really all that appealing and neither is a Vida coffee in a flask. However, service was efficient, the flight was comfortable, and all operated on time. I'll definitely give them another try.
Normally I am very happy with Uber and I prefer to use direct channels to complain. The reason for the 1 star is that I simply cannot find anywhere to register the issue and get feedback. I used their Reserve service - one they're perpetually advertising for seamless planning - for a trip to the airport. Only when I hadn't received any notification of imminent arrival at the appointed time did I go into the app and find out it had simply been cancelled. No notification, no warning, and no explanation. So what's the point of booking in advance? Don't offer a service you cannot fulfil.
I have had some struggles with Vodacom in the past so it is only fitting that, when they wow me completely, I praise them publicly. I honestly hate having to phone in for every little request but if all calls went like this, I wouldn't mind so much. I need to single out Aveesha in the fibre cancellations department for truly showing empathy for my situation and following through on promises. She couldn't give me guarantees and managed my expectations accordingly with professionalism and honesty. But she did follow up exactly as promised. Where previously I was told that the person assisting me couldn't escalate my request, Aveesha did exactly that with ease. She couldn't control the outcome but I am hugely appreciative that the request was ultimately successful. Thank you to Heather for that and for her wonderful phone call. Between her and Aveesha, they have reminded me why I have remained loyal to Vodacom for more than 20 years.
