After waiting 2 months for an installation I had a confirmed appointment for 10:00am. The technician arrived at 15:00. No phone call in inform that they would be late. Technician left without indicating the placement of the assist button. No response from Tracker Connect App when using “Contact us”. No information regarding vehicle status or trip logs on app from new unit.
I bought a new Toyota Corolla Cross Xr from Middelburg Toyota. It became apparent that the bonnet was mal-aligned and resprayed. After months of negotiations Toyota gave the choice either to repair or replace. This was during the floods in KZN. I then elected to repair. The bonnet is still mal-aligned. MIOSA only did cursory evaluation and sided with Toyota.
Waiting more than 2 months for a tracker to be installed. Still no access to app which is the selling point, that you can track your own vehicles. If it was not for the fact that I have other vehicles covered by Tracker I would have gone to Matrix.

After much negotiation Toyota offered to repair or replace. This was during the floods in Natal, so I opted to repair. This was done at a reputable panel beater, appointed by Toyota. The whole nose of the car now mis-aligned to the left of the rest of the vehicle. Toyota accepts no further responsibility. Toyota Middelburg and Toyota South Africa do not live up to their slogan of “Everything keeps going right Toyota “
