Worst Checkers ever
The award for the worst checkers goes to the one at Checkers Norkem Corner. The service is atrocious ,the manager swears at staff in front of customers the hot food section is atrocious and the store is filthy. Believe me it's worthwhile going to Walmart Boksburg where everything is the opposite. And the prices are mind boggling ,I found products up to R50 cheaper than Checkers. I did my weekly shopping at Walmart Boksburg bought the exact same goods as I do at Checkers. And it worked out R380 cheaper.

Best Spar in Gauteng
This Spar in de Wiekus rd Van Riebeeck park is a joy to shop at. From Riaan and Mike the managers, to Ivy, Queenie and all the till workers to all the ladies at the cooked food, they are all fantastic. They know me by name , greet me like a long last friend. The cooked food section is brilliant. It's like my mother is in the back cooking the food. I have never experienced a bad day there. Trust me when I say buy your Sunday lunch there. The prices are excellent and the quality is the best in Gauteng. As for the coffee shop at the entrance, Pumza and Nonka you two my my day everytime I buy a cuppacinno. A big smile and a huge hello is what I get from the two ladies verytime and believe me I buy a lot of cuppacinno there. I love this Spar and highly recommend it to all.

Worst service ever.
Well your store at Harvest mall must rate as the worst coffee shop at Harvest mall. I waited 10 minutes and eventually walked out and the funny thing is there was only 1 person in front of me. If you want good latte at a cheaper price with excellent service rather go to George's bakery in the mall.

Sixty60 madness
Today was the final straw. Walking on the pavement to checkers to do shopping a sixty60 motorbike came zooming down on the pavement and I had to jump out of the way. I am an old age pensioner and was extremely angry.

Walmart Worth the trip
What a pleasant surprise. The staff are amazing so friendly. The prices are mind boggling. The store is bright and cheerful. I thoroughly enjoyed my shopping experience. One small niggle that don't do pick up where I order on my app and pick up the order at the store. But the trip was worth it and I saved a few hundred rands. Please keep up your staffs friendly and helpful service.

Worst insurance company
People if I can give you one piece of advice ,STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They committed attempted ***** by adding coverage in specifically did not ask for. There reply, no mention of the ***** committed, nothing they can do.

Be very careful when dealing with this company. I took a car policy out in December 2025, and in February I spoke to an agent about adding a few extra contents. She gave me the prices and i told her I would get back to her in the week. I TOLD HER NOT TO GO AHEAD UNTIL SHE HAD HEARD FROM ME. DOTSURE CONFIRMED THEY LISTENED TO THE CALL AND AGREED I HAD NOT ACCEPTED ANY NEW COVER. LO AND BEHOLD THAT NIGHT MY BANK MESSAGED ME TO ACCEPT NEW CONTENT COVER FOR R299.00. THE AGENT HAD GONE AHEAD WITHOUT MY PERMISSION AND ADDED A NEW COVER. I IMMEDIATELY CANCELLED THE POLICY AS THE AGENT HAD COMMITTED *****. I CONTACTED THEM AND THEY VERY NON COMMITTAL OR BOTHERED. I HAVE NETSTAR LINKED TO THE POLICY FOR A PERIOD OF 3 YEARS, AND THEY ARE NOT BOTHERED. I HAVE NOW GONE TO PINEAPPLE INSURANCE ,A VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE I MIGHT ADD. BUT NOW I AM SITTING WITH A NESTSTAR ACCOUNT DONE BY DOTSURE. I HAVE OPENED A CASE OF ***** AT THE POLICE AND HANDED IT OVER TO MY LAWYER. STAY AWAY FROM DOTSURE
