What a waste of good potential! Mercantile Bank just drops the ball. If you ever decide to open an account, please remember: - It is IMPOSSIBLE to change your business's contact details and/or address. Jumping through hoops and signing documents only for NOTHING to be done. - Don't bother with secure message - you'll get a generic response of "matter escalated" if you are even LUCKY to get a reply. - Mercantile's SWIFT SARS payment says the transaction was successfully released, hell even the money leaves your business account BUT SARS never receives the money. Good luck opening a secure message of urgency because Mercantile won't do the job either. - Your Account Manager is just a glorified position. They don’t do anything. Mercantile needs a new HR department where they aren't afraid to fire underperforming staff members. There are a lot of people looking for employment in ZA so why keep the rubbish ones?
I have many complaints about The Meter Shack, ranging from lack of communication to blatant theft. The latest string of theft occurred on the 19th October 2020. My office unit ran out of prepaid electricity on the 5th October 2020. I did not bother topping up as the office unit is standing empty so you can imagine my surprise when I saw the balance was -R2645.58 because they billed me R2300.26 for electricity usage (Timestamp: 2020-10-19 10:48:21). I quickly fired off an email to Andre and Sunil (cc'ing my landlords) but as I suspected no communication has been received. This company will be investigated by the authorities as I have proof of 3 incidences where abnormal charges were placed on my account (of which I was told the charges are correct by could not be explained by anyone at The Meter Shack).
Business Fibre down for 3 working days! Contact 0821940 -> Option 3 (Business Fibre) and I get connected to that kak Tobi, or to someone in Prepaid -- how is that helpful? I got told someone will call me back (left my cell number but nobody calls). Nobody knows what is going on! This is a break in SLA agreement and no updates on what is actually going on.
As a business owner, the method of going to Standard Bank's branch to do anything is absolutely useless and outdated. I use CSP to verify my details on Internet Banking but now I have been blocked because I need to reset my ATM pin. Zero clues as to why! Phoned to get support told to go to the branch to reset it. Maybe when I owe you money then you should come to my office to collect!
To date I have received no emails, no calls and no refund. When I try to call Dean the staff tell me he is busy and won't take my calls. <br> <br> Stay far away from Aerial Concepts - you will be hurting yourself in the end.

After my last complaint against Aerial Concepts, I received an email from Dean stating that the Heli was involved in a crash and that I am liable for the charges. I disagree! <br> <br> 1.) The Heli was only flown by Sam.<br> 2.) The Heli was not flown after it left Aerial Concepts.<br> 3.) They have had the Heli for over 3 weeks without a mention of anything like this before.<br> 4.) Camera footage, at my office, shows the Heli, in great condition, and handed over to the driver of Aerial Concepts in that condition.<br> <br> It seems that Aerial Concepts is now trying to cover up their employees mistake but charging the customer! My attempts to get a full refund has been ignored (a refund of R800 was suggested for Flight School but not for club fees, Heli + Accessories purchased). <br> <br> Do yourself a favour - don't even bother buying from Aerial Concepts. I purchased an RC heli from Aerial concepts at the end of December. 15th Jan, I booked it in for a pre-flight inspection where I told Sam that there were two issues during the assembly that I was unable to do. I was told I would get it back later that afternoon. I received a call saying that it was only going to be ready on Monday. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, I had to request an update since no communication was given. Friday I collected and was told that I had to fix two issues - ironically one of the issues is what I booked the heli in for. I had to buy simulator software to which A.C tried to sell me the pirated version. 26th Jan, I heard the gears grinding when the rotor blades were set free from the foam mount. This was the other issue I informed Sam about. I told Sam but got no reply. 10 days later - got hold of Dean who arranged to collect that Friday. It is now 2.5 weeks later and I have had zero feedback (and I constantly asked). Today Sam accused me of breaking the heli. I have spent over R60k with this company and I am getting treated like crap. Good luck to anyone that spends even a small fraction of that with them - I doubt you will even get a one word reply.
