Recently bought mosquito repellent for my 4yr old , on arrival at home, I noticed that the product was past the expiry date. The date of expiry was 01 Jan 26 and I purchased the item on 22 Feb 26. How is thus possible for such a reputable store to sell expired products to customers who take it for granted that we are sold qualify products. Also what are the legalities concerning ill effects from the usage of the expired product.
Been with outsurance for 18 yrs. Can count the claims in single figures. Mostly geyser related. Last yr a foreign national knocked into my car and I had to bear all the costs, excess, courtesy vehicle, medical etc. The insurance claims that the guy is not south african and has no work, hence he cannot pay a dime. Who's fault is that, I neva ask him to be on da road without 3rd party. To add to the dilemma, outsurance raised my car insurance this yr by 36% and all my other policies by 14%. Thats crazy. Time to say bye bye
Hi, just wanted customers to know what incompetence lays in the management at pick n pay longbeach Capetown. I purchased items during a store special and realized only to late that the store had overcharged me. Upon further enquiries, the manager promised to reimburse me but that was long before Christmas and it is now almost new years. My concern is about the money wasted but also more about the ethics and behavior of the management staff. That leaves a sour unwanting legacy that I should never return to that store.
Had a buffet meal at this location last week with family. Food was abundant but average and service lacked etiquette. My evening ended with on a literal sour note as I approached thd floor manager to enquire about refilling thd lamb curry dish. It was refilled but when I ate my food I found it was burnt pieces of braised beef in a left over lamb gravy. Very very bad decisions lead to unhappy customers.
Was recently enticed and coerced into changing my Fibre provider from Octotel to Vodacom. Problem is, 3months later I am paying for 2 subscriptions because Vodacom and all it's employees cannot figure out who is responsible for closing the previous Fibre connection, which to me seems a pretty easy administrative process. Go figure, Vodacom threatens to charge me penalties if I stop my debit order although it is incorrectly charged, but I must endure their mistakes and not even be reimbursed for the all the extra debits and fees and interests attached. Where's the ombudsman now.
Woolworths rewards south Africa is misleading and promises the world of fabulous Christmas prizes but all I've ever seen on my prize board was beauty and fashion vouchers which after reading properly it states that one must spend a thousand rand to get a R125 off. What a joke, when the actual product is overpriced already. Furthermore the advertising on these competitors promise such extravagant prizes which one must qualify for by purchasing products every week hence putting the unsuspecting customer in financial peril. Woolies are gold diggers.
Recently purchased a dstv streama from makro ottery. It was on special and bought online. The device does not work and as per store 14 day policy I phoned and was told by the electronics section manager that because it was on special I could not swap my device but rather my money returned. So I lose out on my bargain. What pathetic service after I wasted a further R100 waiting for the relevant agent to speak to. Also phoned back and asked for a callback and still waiting 2 days later.
Purchased a dstv streama box and the thing does not come on. What a waste of money.
I am a premium dstv subscriber and have 2 TV connected to my explora. I recently purchased a streama device to add dstv to my 3 TV via my 100mbs Fibre ethernet connection. The you tube and Netflix works well but the intended dstv app on the box is pathetically slow and buffers or not even a connection is made and that is on dstv live streaming. What a waste of my money. Now I am even seriously considering the usage of my premium package and other alternatives out there because dstv surely gives a ****
Dstv makes alot of profit from their customers then hire multitude of singular companies to do their dirty work like campaigning and making the customers feel happy when there's nothing to feel great about. I recently received a birthday reward which can only be achieved in the gauteng province and I stay in western cape..tgere was one option but it was not desirable. After complaining I had to fill out a long customer feedbk form online and then nobody even followed this matter up. Why should they I'm just 1 fed up customer that cannot break the multichoice billions and yet we go bk day after day. To add misery to my plight I realised yesterday that Sabc now views live English premier league. Maybe it's time to change, open view here I come.
