Dealing with MyStorageSA involved one problem after another. The storage unit doors are cheap and can simply be opened from the outside, even when locked, if one knows the trick. I told this to management, and they said that the door is secure. I'm not sure how it can be secure if it can simply be opened while supposedly locked. In general, things are very informal. My various emails were mostly ignored. The security guards have no uniforms and don't do checks at the entrance gate. There is rubble all over, and there seem to be various people living on the premises. I also had water dripping into my unit, presumably from the people living on the premises washing their cars above the ba*****t storage. I was also ****** just outside the premises. This is obviously not the business's fault. I'm just mentioning it so that anyone reading this knows to be careful in the area.
I contacted the business to ask about buying one of their portable air conditioners. Someone called Greg Hodge rep**** with abrupt questions. I answered his question and asked some of my own. He then simply ignored me, even though I resent the email. This is a very strange approach to customer service. GMC must be really busy if they can afford to simply ignore (irritating/inconvenient) customer emails.
Terrible service from Dries Maree at Tendahealth. He does the absolute minimum for his clients. Save yourself the headache and frustration and use someone else.
The product is fine, but don't bother emailing them for help. They will ignore you - zero customer service. Very odd.
Watch out for Zenmarket. They are only concerned with milking you for fees. They are inflexible, uncooperative, and non-proactive when it comes to any kind of situation that devaites from their many little rules and regulations.
Pathetic service from Cosmin at ASUS SA online support (also has an attitude problem).
Be very weary of Zenmarket. They have no control over the sellers on their site and they will take no resposibility for problems. If, for example, a seller says that an item is new but it arrives in used condition, then you will have no recourse. Zenmarket will simply shrug and say that it your problem. You can't even leave a negative review for the seller.
I'm not going to buy from Montagu anymore. When their stock is getting old, they simply relabel it with a new expiry date. Half the time their nuts are stale. This is poor business practice and shows a plain disrespect for their customers.
BOB is a good platform for buying and selling. The people you deal with are often sharks, but that's not BOB's fault; its a South African problem. In general, I've found the platform to be reliable and to have good customer service (although they seem to have annoying tech glitches from time to time).
Excellent service from Reza and his team. Definitely, the place in SA to order high-end statues.
