I am writing to express my dissatisfaction regarding the handling of my recent insurance claims for a water leak at my property. Standard Bank Insurance appointed a contractor to repair a leaking pipe. Although the leak was fixed, the contractor failed to identify and report that the pipe was old and likely to cause further problems. As a result, a similar leak occurred only a month later in the same section of the pipe. I was then required to pay the excess again, despite the issue clearly stemming from the first company’s failure to provide a proper assessment and recommendation. I find it unreasonable that I am being penalized twice for the same underlying problem due to the contractor’s incompetence and lack of diligence. Standard Bank’s response by Bulelani Tshukuse—that the issue is “not due to workmanship”—is unacceptable. If failing to detect and report a deteriorating pipe during a repair does not constitute poor workmanship, then I question what does.

Pathetic service from Mzansi security.I requested to cancel my alarm system contract due to the fact that I have moved from my home to a rental property...I was told that I cannot cancel and will be blacklisted.Its very opportunistic of mzansi to refuse to cancel contracts ,it's just shows that you don't have good business ethics.When you sign the contract they tell you that you can cancel anytime but when you want to cancel they threaten to blacklist..Pathetic service ,Do not join mzansi security
I purchased a table at cash crusaiders davenport on 31 May 2023.The product was not tested and demonstrated for me at the store.When I got home I was not happy with the dimensions of the table.My slip does not say no refunds.I then returned the product on 1 June 2023,I spoke to the manager Gerald ,who simply just said he can not take the product back. I asked him for the terms and conditions and even told him that there is nowhere that says I can not return this product.He could also not explain the refund policy to me.Kindly assist as after this incident I don't see my self shopping as cash crusaiders.
