Active since Jul 2023
I had opened a 32-day-notice account and went to branch to close it last month (with a notice). The account remains active to this day and when I contact Standard Bank to ask why the account is still active when I closed it, I do not get any response (it has been almost a week now). Horrible bank. I have to complain about their service every now and then - it is exhausting.
I have a monthly service with Netcash (debit orders and Pay Now). Because it is monthly service that needs a monthly payment, it means if I don't pay for the month, they suspend their service. Matter-of-fact of fact, in 2023, I missed a monthly payment and my Netcash monthly service was immediately suspended that same month. THAT'S HOW A MONTH-TO-MONTH SERVICE WORKS. However now, I missed a monthly payment and they failed to suspended my service - allowed it to remain unsuspended for months, and now they claim my account is an arrears for R1 000 something. It doesn't make sense. A MONTHLY service is suspended the same month that a MONTHLY payment is not received. Why would any business allow a monthly service to remain unsuspended when the monthly payment was not received? It has no sense! I rep**** two times to their accounts on Sunday (their name is Edgar, I think) and I told them that my account is an arrears for ONE MONTH, it's impossible that I missed one monthly payment and they left the service unsuspended for that month, even worse, to carry on to the next month. To this day, Edgar has not responded to my emails, it has been SIX DAYS.
<div>I created a business page a while ago and when I came back to change the logo today, I cannot because Hello Peter wants me to pay for a package first. Even to update my business details? This is ridiculous. Google Reviews show up first when people search for my business, I will not waste my money on Hello Peter. You can't even update mere business details without paying? This is madness!</div>
1. I had a business bank account dissappear, without a trace, a year ago and Standard Bank couldn't assist me to this day. Yes, A WHOLE YEAR! 2. The ridiculous "honouring fee" they have been charging me, today's R145 was the last, I am closing my accounts with them. I am sick and tired of this bank. I can't do this anymore.
Imaginet is taking Axxess's reseller prices and adding ridiculous profit margins, *********** Imaginet resellers. Imaginet takes Axxess prices (which anyone can join to resell for Axxess), adds R40 - R100 profits, and then gives those ridiculously high prices for Imaginet resellers to resell, even giving them targets to meet to stay in the Imaginet reseller program. What is more ridiculous is fibre installation fees, Imaginet will charge your clients an installation fee ranging from R955 to R1 400+ for some FNOs, and they pocket this money because they will get free installation when they forward your order to Axxess. Resellers can check Axxess's reseller prices to see how Imaginet is ripping them off, by taking the exact Axxess reseller prices, adding profit margins, and reselling to Imaginet resellers' clients, and still expecting the reseller to add their profit margins on their prices. You are basically their sales agent - working at a loss, helping their Axxess reseller account, when you can sign up with Axxess yourself. I will repost this review over and over again if they remove it.
Site Essence is a small starting ISP but their service is outstanding. I migrated my fibre from Mweb to Site Essence and I have been happy since then. The aftersales experience is great, my connection is always up and the support team is always available to assist.
If you are looking to take a reseller hosting package with Ve Host - DO NOT if you care about your sanity, business, and client websites. If it was possible to give them a zero star, I would. Ve Host made changes to their server, simultaneously causing issues on our WHMCS and all cPanel accounts. Long story short - Ve Host ignored my high-priority support ticket for days, they ignored me on their live chat, and my clients and I were stranded for 12 DAYS (with no access to WHMCS, emails, and some sites). I then paid a third party to come and assist and Ve Host still did not respond when the third party needed assistance from Ve Host's part. Later, their support agent kept denying that the issues were caused by the changes made to their server (they were caused by a ''******* database'', according to him), but someone else from Ve Host had previously admitted that the issues were caused by the changes they made. I have incurred financial losses and negative customer feedback because of Ve Host. I have nothing positive to say about Ve Host. Read their reviews - another reseller also had the same issue, at the same time as me (they too, their problems were caused by a ''database'') - surely a coincidence, just like it was a coincidence for my reseller account and WHMCS to experience issues immediately after they made changes to their server. THEY KNOW VERY WELL THAT MANY OF THEIR CUSTOMERS EXPERIENCED ISSUES AFTER CHANGES TO THEIR SERVER, BUT THEY ARE MAKING UP NON-EXISTENT STORIES ABOUT DATABASES.
The best ISP in South Africa ever! At first I doubted Site Essence because they are still new, but they surprised me with their great service, support, and aftersales. After my horrible experience with Mweb, I am finally stress-free. Love love love love Site Essence. The WhatsApp support replies on time, my LTE has no issues, and they debit the right amount. I recommend!
I will never, ever, use Mweb or recommend it to a human being. For 4 months you debited my bank, no fibre, and you you refused to cancel. I have now moved to another ISP Site Essence, they offer the best service ever, my fibre has no issues, and they don't debit ridiculous amounts. I am glad I escaped Mweb but I will never forget what I went through with you ****mers.
