Subject: Thank you Koa Academy Dearest Koa Academy Team, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation for the outstanding work you have done in creating such a brilliant online school. As we near the end of our first week, I can confidently say that I have no complaints. Your staff have shown remarkable patience and understanding, and the teachers dedicate time to ensure that every concept is explained thoroughly to the children. From an IT perspective, your systems are impressively secure—locked down tighter than Fort Knox—and that gives me great peace of mind. I even spent time this week looking for loopholes, but found none, which speaks volumes about the strength of your platform. A special thank you goes to Joanel Lemmer for her patience and the clarity with which she teaches the Grade 4 class of 2026. Lauren and Mark, your vision for Koa Academy is truly inspiring, and it is evident in the way the school operates. Amani has already expressed that she never wishes to return to a traditional school setting, which is a testament to the success of your approach. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for welcoming us into the Koa Family. We wish you continued success with this extraordinary online school. Kind Regards, Adam Beruch Kolia
It’s 2026, and we’re thrilled to see our daughter begin her new school journey as a proud “Koala” at Koa Academy. After many years of trying traditional schools, we chose to embrace this new chapter with Koa—one of South Africa’s top-rated online schools, consistently earning 5-star reviews on Hello Peter and Google. When parents and children alike speak so highly of their experience, it says everything about the professionalism, integrity, and care that Koa Academy brings to learners, families, and the wider South African community. Well done, Koa Academy—joining you in 2026 has truly been the best decision we’ve made.

Foneyam truly makes owning a smart device effortless. It’s the easiest and simplest way to get a smartphone or tablet without being tied down to long-term contracts. I’ve already received my second device through Foneyam after paying off my first one, and the added bonus of monthly insurance against theft, loss, or damage gives me complete peace of mind. Honestly, choosing Foneyam has been the best decision ever for getting a smart device!
Subject: Reassurance on Koa Academy’s Accreditation Good morning Koa Academy Team, I hope you're all doing well. A recent news article has raised concerns about bogus online schools and their accreditation status in South Africa. You can view the article here: 🔗 https://search.app/5KdHy As a parent with a child starting home education with Koa Academy in 2026, I’ve taken time to research this topic thoroughly. Should other parents raise questions, here’s what I’ve personally confirmed: ✅ Koa Academy is registered with the IEB, a respected private assessment body that sets and administers the NSC exams for Grade 12 learners. ✅ The IEB is accredited by Umalusi, which means the NSC qualification earned through Koa is officially recognized within the South African education system. ✅ For Grades 4–9, Koa operates under the home education model. Parents must register their children with the Department of Basic Education (DBE), and Koa provides guidance and support throughout this process. ✅ Koa Academy is not listed on Umalusi’s database, but its partnership with the IEB ensures learners receive a Umalusi-accredited matric certificate. This is a standard arrangement among reputable online schools in South Africa. For families planning their child’s academic journey with Koa, this means their matric qualification will be fully recognized, and the school’s support structure will help them navigate DBE registration with confidence. These details align with what parents are told during introductory meetings with Mark Anderson and the Koa Academy team, so there’s no cause for concern. Please feel free to share this message with any parents who may be worried after seeing the article. I’m also happy to speak with prospective families who’d appreciate hearing from another parent.

Subject: Excited to Join Koa Academy in 2026 – Grade 4 We are thrilled to share how excited our family is for our daughter to join Koa Academy in 2026 as a Grade 4 learner. We attended today’s webinar, and it exceeded our expectations. All of our questions and concerns were answered with clarity and care, and as an IT Analyst, I found myself fully engaged from start to finish. The presentation gave us complete confidence in the values, vision, and structure of Koa Academy. Most importantly, our 8-year-old daughter was absolutely overjoyed by the interaction. Since the webinar ended, she has been asking us repeatedly to call the Principal just to let him know how happy and excited she is to be joining Koa. That joy speaks volumes about the impression the team has made on her young heart. Thank you for the warmth, professionalism, and passion that shine through everything you do. We are truly excited to begin this journey in 2026. With gratitude and excitement, 2026 Grade 4 Learner's Parents.
My wife, daughter and I are grateful to the entire team at Life Hospital Mount Edgecombe. On the 11 October 2024, our daughter was playing at home after returning from school. She fell off the couch resulting in a fracture to her left elbow. She was operated on last night. Every staff member at Life Hospital Mount Edgecombe was kind, caring and gave us excellent medical care. Our daughter stayed the night with my wife, the service from every hospital staff member was exceptional. Being new to Durban, we are impressed by the excellent service from the doctors, nurses, radiology staff, cleaners and every staff member who made our daughter's overnight stay an amazing one. Thank you, Life Hospital Mount Edgecombe. Kind Regards. Mr. Kolia
