Title: ********* & Exploitative – Avoid SOS Prepaid Solutions at All Costs! Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ I am absolutely disgusted by the way SOS Prepaid Solutions operates. They are supposed to supply prepaid electricity meters in South Africa, but instead of serving the people, they exploit them — especially low-income households. Their electricity rates are ridiculously inflated compared to standard municipal tariffs. On top of that, they sneak in additional hidden charges, making electricity unaffordable for many. This isn’t just bad service — it’s economic exploitation. It feels like they’re profiting from people’s basic need for power. When you try to contact them, there is no accountability, no transparency, and certainly no care. Customer service is unresponsive, and issues go unresolved for weeks, if at all. People deserve fair access to electricity — not to be taken advantage of by companies like SOS Prepaid Solutions. I urge everyone to stay away from them and demand stricter regulation and oversight of these private prepaid electricity providers. If you're considering using them: Don't. If you're already a customer: Speak out. It's time the public becomes aware of these shady practices.
Utmost worst experience ever. Waited for 3 hours after my appointment was confirmed. Reception staff accepting bribe money to get patients paying for earlier appointments.

On the 6th of November 2023 I traded in my Elantra 1.6 GLS Automatic Executive White in color for an Audi A4 2.0TDI B9 in as a trade in and explicitly indicated that it is a trade into Discovery Insure - I have notified Discovery to note that as a trade in. I have paid a double premium on both my Elantra and the new Audi on the 25th of November after the notification was made. I am still struggling with Discovery to refund me on both vehicles as I have changed insurance through to the King - King Price Insurance where I am directly dealing with absolute Professionals. I have spent over 3 hours waiting in call center cues with Discovery insure for the last 2 to 3 weeks trying to get my refund and eventually I spoke to my King Price King Andre at King Price, and he resolved my issue in just a few minutes. Discovery Insure is easy to sign up with but when you want to cancel with them their Service Desk does not exist, and they do not note the communication over the phone to the existing policy. This is not the end of it - I have contacted all of my business partners and contacts throughout my ****nal of contacts and I have made them all aware that Discovery insure is ******* and they have been sucking people dry. My Business Partner with a fleet of 400+ vehicles is struggling to get through to discovery right now to cancel his policy with them and he is currently waiting 2 hours in the cue for cancellation. I have over 40 call recording on my mobile device which I have submitted to Discovery for evidence that I have cancelled and explicitly notified the trade in of my vehicle as well as cancellation of my policy and I have not heard or received a call from Discovery insure in over a week. Your effort and understanding of the matter are highly appreciated I would refer all of my business through to you and Discovery insure will never hear from me and all my business partners ever again. You had your bravado moment in the shop telling myself and my 1.3 million strong network of connections and business partners throughout Gauteng will not have an affect on your business.
