Soneike branch don't answer the phone... So did scripts R2000pm and shopping R1500pm & Christmas shopping R3500 at Dischem. No need to reply. Don't bother. Just know you lost a big spending customer.
So, I am under Debt Counselling. A maintenance payment for my elderly parent came into my bank account (the payer made a mistake), nonetheless Capitec Bank is by law not allowed to deduct monies as I am under debt counselling. Not only this, but the incoming funds were not salary or income and clearly marked as Maintenance as it has been for years. Capitec Bank ignore what the Debt Counsellor sent to them (I am not under Debt Counselling and they need proof). Give me a break. They also ignore the fact that the monies they took is Maintenance for an 83 year old woman with Alzeihmers in a home. Capitec Bank Complaints Department state that they have closed the case and their investigation, really, they close complaints when the client is not at all satisfied and has been done in. I think this smacks of theft and ***** so I will have to do the necessary and have this investigated. I copied in Investor Relations at Capitec Bank, let's see if the CEO's office or anyone bothers to respond. However, I am proceeding.
So it all started off great. I told them right in the beginning my husband is not involved. After I signed they then say that this document and that document is needed (per Law) which was not explained or mentioned to me in the beginning at all - this applies if you are married in COP or ANC - your spouse's income and all that must be disclosed "but it won't be used". Isn't this important to explain upfront before you sign??? Sent through the required documents and then receive an email back to say it is all outstanding. So resent. Could not get through on the phone. Sent 3 emails yesterday asking that I be called - nothing. Tried again today and cannot hold on endlessly. I wonder if it crosses anyone's mind that a person that has debt does not have money to sit and sit and sit on the phone? Just a thought - leave it with you. I am not well at all and have been in hospital more times this year than I care to say and have been diagnosed with a lung condition. I also do not have a printer or scanner at home. I work from home. So I send a document explaining what is what - it is perfectly clear and understandable. Now I am told I must write N/A across it and resend it. Really, what for? Does it change the meaning? So yeah, I am now far more stressed and far more unhappy than when I was dealing with the creditors directly. So much for help and taking the pressure off you. Totally disappointed. Totally down. Defeated.
So they increase the monthly fee by over 40% due to "operational costs". More like wanting funds to pay for their expensive upgrade to Stellenbosch that I didn't ask for. When you ask them to show the paragraph in the contract where it says they can effect an increase of OVER 40% they ignore you. They confirm they can charge a hefty cancellation fee though and then proceed to debit it. Where is it legal to effect an increase of over 40%? I never agreed to this, never signed for this and this is BAIT and SWITCH. Selling you something and then moving the goal posts. What a *******. I want my cancellation fee back in full. They will never see me for dust. I do not support businesses that do business like this.
So, I received a call to say that I must upload my last 3 payslips on the App in order to further my credit card application. Knowing what a battle this banking App is I asked if same can be emailed and it can't. So I try. I won't accept my banking details where my salary gets paid into (apparently the credentials are wrong lol), so I can't proceed. Try to phone them and verification is required on my cell. So, I'm logging in and trying to take the stupid selfie you have to do each time and it cancels as it's taking too long. Can't win.
Try to get hold of them. They don't respond to emails due to security reasons. They don't answer the phones. Their chat on Whatsapp and Text, Oh Wow, I'll be 6foot under before they respond. Their reset password and username does not work either. Every time you code in an acceptable password it is not good enough. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC ALL ROUND.
This is a review of the BEST BUY SA PART TIME JOB OFFER. So, you pay in R100. Do a few tasks. I earned R50 which was paid into my bank account. You have a platform account/balance. Here's the **** part as I see it. You have to pay in to complete the juicy (high comm orders). In my case R200. So you can't complete the order unless you pay in. You can't withdraw any comm you earned unless you complete the order which you can't do unless you pay in. So basically you are stuck and your money remains on that platform which you can't access unless you pay in. They'll tell you that you can withdraw money (comm) and any money you did fund straight after. Yep straight after you have completed the order as long as you paid in. So pay in and continue. Or don't pay in and lose the money. Where can one report this? It's good for people that have money to pay in and pay in and pay in. https://bestbuysa.net/
They continue to debit your account after you have cancelled. They come up with nonsense so you can prove it didn't work for you. What do you call people that ***** money? *******.
